Hello everyone. Today I have another little story to share. Although it's about everyday life, it still offers many lessons. This story took place this afternoon. After the kids returned from school, I fed them lunch after they had finished bathing and went downstairs. This afternoon, my husband wasn't working. So, when the kids saw that their dad was home, they wanted him to take them out. The kids begged their dad to go out and buy them toys. The toys here weren't very expensive, only 10 or 20 baht each. So, we planned to take the kids out, and our activities began.
While waiting for my husband to get ready to take us out, my daughter and I lay downstairs playing with our phones. We're very close, and she often hovers close to me. I really enjoy playing with my youngest daughter. Perhaps because she's the youngest, she's closer to me than my eldest daughter, who's now starting to have more privacy.
After getting ready, we drove to a place before taking the kids shopping. That was a steamed bun shop. We frequent this steamed bun shop because it's clean and hygienic, allowing us to see the staff prepare the buns in a glass room. It's also quite famous on Facebook, with many customers from outside the area, especially on weekends. When we arrived, there were already customers, but not many because it was a normal weekday. We chose to eat dumplings and steamed buns with red pork filling, which is a famous dish here. They also have pandan, red bean, and many other fillings. We usually only eat one each because it's almost dinner time. When the dumplings arrived, my youngest daughter was so happy that she forgot to be careful. She used a fork to poke the dumplings, but accidentally poked the wrong one, so when she put it in her mouth, it fell on the floor. Haha, she didn't eat it. However, we ordered another one for her.
And after finishing our meal, it was time to take the kids to the eco shop. As soon as the kids arrived, they ran straight to the toy section. My oldest daughter chose a golf cart puzzle. My youngest daughter also chose a small doll. They also ran to the stationery section to pick up some coloring stickers and other things, and finally reached a magnifying glass. Haha, this magnifying glass was my husband's favorite because he thinks that when we go out, our eyesight gets better as we age and we use our phones too much, which can cause blurry vision. So, using a magnifying glass is a great help. We spent a long time choosing, but in the end, we didn't buy it. Haha, never mind. We'll talk about it again next time. When the kids got their desired toys, we paid at the counter and went home. It was already evening, and the kids had to get ready to shower and eat. The steamed buns we ate a moment ago were starting to digest, so the kids could still eat dinner. And that's all for today's little story.
