Lo que debemos hacer es comer sano y con baja cantidad tanto de azúcar como de sal, para poder gozar de una buena salud.

My lunch: garlic chicken cutlet, salad, and boiled plantain [ESP/ENG].

Hello, friends who read my posts in the @hivefood community. It’s a pleasure to greet you all, and I hope you’ve all had a wonderful day. Welcome to my blog.

As I’ve mentioned before, I’m trying to stick to a diet, so I’ve cut back on some carbs and sugars to improve my health. That’s why I’m eating healthy. Today, I’m sharing a simple, quick, and nutritious meal I made for lunch: garlic chicken cutlet, carrot and lettuce salad, and boiled plantain.

11.jpg

I’ve tried to combine the foods I’m currently eating as best as possible—that is, to avoid pairing or combining too many carbohydrates. The secret to a healthy diet lies in the fact that these days we don’t know how to eat properly, since we often combine several carbohydrates at the same time. What we need to do is eat healthy meals with low amounts of both sugar and salt in order to enjoy good health.

Now, I’m going to list the ingredients I used to prepare my lunch and walk you through the step-by-step process to make a quick, simple, and delicious lunch.

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken cutlets
  • 5 large cloves of garlic, minced
  • soy sauce
  • Salt and ground oregano to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 large plantain
  • 100 grams of iceberg lettuce
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard, 1 of sugar, and 2 of mayonnaise

Preparation

The first thing I did was wash the chicken cutlets thoroughly with plenty of water, then season them with salt, garlic, soy sauce, and ground oregano. Next, I took a skillet, added oil, and placed it on the stove until it was hot. I added the chicken cutlets and flipped them until they were golden brown. I turned off the heat and plated the dish.

At the same time, I boiled the not-quite-ripe, slightly hard plantain, and I also prepared the salad, which included grated carrots, finely chopped lettuce, mayonnaise, sugar, and mustard. This way, I was able to enjoy a delicious and nutritious lunch, which I prepared quickly—in just thirty minutes, my lunch was ready.

That’s all for now. I hope you enjoyed this post, and let’s keep the conversation going in the comments. Abundant blessings to all my dear and cherished readers. Warm regards.
