Feliz tarde-noche amigos de hive, un gusto saludarles, en esta ocasión les quiero compartir estas fotografías de Cerecitas de monte, o también conocidas en el oriente de Venezuela, Semeruco, la cual me regaló una compañera de trabajo que tiene un árbol de esta fruta en su casa.
Happy afternoon/evening, Hive friends! It's a pleasure to greet you. On this occasion, I want to share these photos of wild cherries, also known as semeruco in eastern Venezuela. A coworker who has a tree of this fruit at her home gave them to me.
El semeruco o cerecita es un fruto silvestre propios de zonas áridas y semiáridas, especialmente del oriente del país, sus frutos rojos, jugosos y agridulces, son ricos en vitamina C, ideales para dulces, mermeladas y no puede faltar degustarlo directamente.
The semeruco, or wild cherry, is a wild fruit native to arid and semi-arid regions, especially in the eastern part of the country. Its red, juicy, and sweet-and-sour fruits are rich in vitamin C, ideal for sweets and jams, and of course, delicious eaten fresh.
Recuerdo que yo de pequeña consumía mucho esta fruta cuando dada un paseo hacia el río cercano a casa y por todo el camino había de estos árboles.
I remember eating this fruit a lot when I was little, especially when I took walks to the river near my house, and there were these trees all along the way.
También conozco la canción llamada "Cerecitas" compuesta por, Luis Mariano Rivera e interpretada por Gualberto Ibatreto, y la letra, dice así:
Cerecita de mi monte, frutica sabrosa y pura, acidito de mi cielo y de mi tierra dulzura"
I also know the song called "Cerecitas" composed by Luis Mariano Rivera and performed by Gualberto Ibatreto, and the lyrics go like this: "Little cherry of my mountain, tasty and pure fruit, sweet little cherry of my sky and sweetness of my land."
