A delicious meat dish to go with lunch

Happy Tuesday to everyone! Today’s a day off – well, the whole of Holy Week, actually. Today I made the most of it and cooked the last bit of meat I had left. Lots of people say you shouldn’t eat meat during Holy Week, but if that’s all you’ve got, you’ve got no choice. Many people eat fish, but to be honest, we don’t eat much of it at home. The truth is, I got a late start on this dish and missed lunchtime. This recipe was quick to make once the meat was already parboiled.

Feliz martes para todos, hoy día de descanso, bueno toda la semana santa. Hoy aproveche de preparar la última carne que me quedaba. Muchas personas dicen que es estás fechas de semana mayor no se debe consumir carnes, pero bueno si es lo que tienes no te queda de otra. Muchos consumen pescado, pero realmente en mi hogar muy poco consumimos. Lo cierto que está preparación la empecé tarde y paso la hora del almuerzo. Está receta fue rápida después de tener ya la carne sancochada.

For this recipe, use 500 grams of beef brisket, 5 chillies, 1 small onion, 1 spring of chives, 1 sprig of coriander, salt to taste and 2 tablespoons of melted butter.

Para esta preparación utilice 500 gramos de carne de mechar, 5 ajíes, 1 cebolla pequeña, 1 rama de cebollín, 1 rama de cilantro, sal al gusto y 2 cucharadas de mantequilla derretida.

The meat turned out quite tender and I managed to tenderise it really well

Está carne quedó bastante suavecita y logre mechar muy bien

To season and add flavour, blend all the seasonings together to make a green sauce. Place the shredded beef in a saucepan with water and the green sauce.
