Hello Hive Fam! 💚 It’s almost 3AM here in the Philippines, and I’m typing this blog on the spot before I finally head to bed. Sometimes, the best stories come unplanned, just like this one.

A few hours ago, I gave in to my cravings and ordered two pieces of Mang Inasal chicken via Grab Food. Honestly, I wasn’t in the mood to cook because of my frustrations with the wall paint in my kitchen. The paint has started to look patchy in one small portion, and it’s been bothering me more than I expected.

So instead of stressing further, I decided to treat myself. The smoky, savory chicken became my comfort viand for dinner—and since I ordered two pieces, I cleverly saved one for breakfast tomorrow. Sometimes, small decisions like this feel like little wins, especially when life throws you tiny annoyances like uneven paint patches.

It’s funny how food can shift our mood. That Mang Inasal chicken reminded me that even when things don’t look perfect (like my kitchen wall), there’s always something simple and satisfying to enjoy.

Thank you, Hive Fam, for reading my spontaneous late-night ramble. Writing this before bed feels like sharing a slice of my day with friends. I appreciate your time and presence here. 💚
