This morning, after having my breakfast, I decided to step out a few hours later for a quick bite. Just in the next barangay, there’s a burger stand that’s quite popular in our area, the Baga Burger.
I ordered their special Baga Burger for only 100 PHP, and here’s the best part: they offer a buy-one-take-one deal. That means I got two burgers for the price of one!
I immediately thought, “Perfect; one for my morning merienda, and the other for my afternoon snack.” It may sound like a small thing, but for me, every peso saved matters. As the sole breadwinner of my family, I’m juggling loans and responsibilities, so finding little ways to be economical feels like a victory.
