Ginisang Sitaw and Dahon ng Saluyot and Fried Tilapia

Copy of Copy of Still Life Sunflower in Vase Oil Pastel (1).gif

Hello, how are you? I figured it out recently that Dahon ng Saluyot is good for the digestive system because it can soften your bowel movement if you have a hard time doing the you know what hehehe.

I wonder why, but lately I am so irritated by removing the leaves one by one, it's consuming a lot of my time, but the vegetable is healthy, so LOL.

To make it more flavorful, I always pair it with fried fish like tilapia. You should try it. We are eating more vegetables and fish lately.

Ingredients I Used:

0.JPG

  • 1/4 Kilo Sitaw (Long String Beans)
  • 1/4 Kilo Dahon ng Saluyot (Jute Leaves)
  • 4 Cloves Garlic
  • Red Onion
  • Ginger
  • 1 tbsp. Fish Sauce
  • 2 cup of Water
  • 1/4 tsp. All-in-one Seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. Ground Pepper
  • Half Cup Cooking Oil
  • Half Kilo Tilapia

Let's Cook!

To add flavor to the vegetables, I added just 1/4 teaspoon of all-in-one seasoning.

To enhance the flavor more, I added 1/4 teaspoon of ground pepper.

Let it cook for about 7 minutes or until the sitaw is soft enough to eat.

Frying the Fish:

In a hot pan, I added half a cup of cooking oil. Let the oil sit in the pan to make it hotter. That way, the fish will not stick to the pan when I fry it.

While waiting for the oil to get hot, I marinate the fish with about a tablespoon of fish sauce.

5.JPG

Then, to add more flavor, I added a teaspoon of all-in-one seasoning. By the way, I slice the fish in half because it is easier to cook, and the texture of it when fried is crispy, so yeah.

I lower the fire on the stove first before I add the fish in and then let in fried until the texture is crispy.

Done! Happy Eating!!

Great combination Green vegetables really create a healthy effect Foods like these are part of the rural environment. But fried fish is my favorite. I did not like eating raw fish since childhood. But eating fried fish is very fun. Thanks for sharing such an interesting food combination.
