It was last week when I visited "Damijoe" โ a short trip during my personal errands in Photharam District, Ratchaburi Province. ๐ปโจ This is a small town, and when I arrived in Ratchaburi, I searched online for a lunch spot. ๐ฝ๏ธ There werenโt many restaurants around here, but this one caught my eye ๐ and made me decide to give it a try.
I chose "Damijoe" because the food here is homemade ๐ก๐ and it wasnโt too far from the place I needed to go for my errands. ๐
When I arrived here, the exterior design of the restaurant felt very close to nature ๐ฟโจ. It made me want to take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the atmosphere filled with greenery. ๐ณ However, since it was midday and the weather was quite hot for this time of year โ๏ธ, I could only stay outside for a short while. What impressed me, though, was how friendly and welcoming the staff were. ๐ค
Before stepping inside, I took a little walk around to capture the beauty of this place ๐ธ๐ฟ. Surrounded by trees, it had the kind of atmosphere I truly love. Iโm a nature lover, and the green scenery is so easy on my eyes ๐.
Next week will be a long holiday ๐๏ธ, and I already have plans for an adventurous trip ๐๏ธ โ hopefully, the weather wonโt be too hot then, hehe.

Demijoe, from what I noticed on the menu, is actually a homemade American-style restaurant ๐บ๐ธ๐. Looking around inside, the dรฉcor focuses on hand-painted artwork ๐จ, and thereโs even a small corner where customers can do some coloring โ giving off a cozy, home-like feeling ๐ก๐.
Once seated, the owner came over to enthusiastically recommend a variety of dishes ๐ฝ๏ธ. But this time, the special highlight was the homemade Italian food, prepared entirely from scratch. ๐ฎ๐น๐
Salmon pesto spaghetti
The first dish I chose was the Salmon Pesto Spaghetti, recommended by the owner. ๐๐ When the dish arrived, the presentation and attention to detail immediately made me feel that it was crafted with a true passion for cooking. Just from the aroma alone, I knew it was going to be delicious.
The spaghetti noodles were homemade โ perfectly chewy yet delicately smooth. With each bite, I could taste the fragrant basil pesto sauce, a mild saltiness balanced by the richness of cheese, and the nutty flavor of pine nuts. ๐ฟ๐ง๐ฐ It truly made me so happy with every mouthful. ๐๐
Mushroom Risotto ๐
The second dish recommended by the owner was Mushroom Risotto ๐. The owner told me it would be an Italian rice dish with champignon mushrooms, flavored with butter. I had never tried this dish before, so I decided to order it โ and a friend of mine was curious about what it would taste like.
When it arrived, once again, I was not disappointed. The attention to detail in the presentation, along with the gentle aroma of cheese ๐ง, was delightful. This dish had a different flavor profile from the Salmon Pesto Spaghetti, which leaned toward a mild saltiness. Here, the focus was on the creamy, well-balanced richness of cheese.
Unlike Thai rice, which tends to be firmer, this risotto had a softer texture that made it pleasantly chewy. The fragrance of champignon mushrooms, combined with the buttery and cheesy richness, made it impossible for me to stop eating. ๐

- I have to say, on a hot day, you must try this drink. Itโs incredibly refreshing! The taste has a tangy sourness and the unique aroma of passion fruit, combined with the fizzy sparkle of soda. Every sip makes you feel really refreshed with this drink.
For the final menu item, itโs homemade ice cream
Vanilla Almond Gelato
Itโs a very delicious ice cream โ vanilla gelato with almonds. The texture is smooth and creamy, with a sweet and fragrant vanilla flavor. When you bite into it, you get a satisfying crunch from the almonds. The combination is perfect.
This is a restaurant where I truly enjoyed my meal and felt very happy. If I have the chance to visit Ratchaburi Province again, I definitely wonโt miss coming back to enjoy this deliciousness once more.
