This is one of my favourite meal so I was very happy when my husband came back ask me to prepare it for him and for some of his friends that he came back with. This meal is so rich and also gives iron to the body most important it helps a pregnant woman in the growth of the baby.
INGREDIENTS USED
🍀 Five pieces of unripe plantain
🍀 Some pieces of fresh vegetables leaves
🍀 Half plate of crayfish
🍀 Ten pieces of fresh pepper 🌶️
🍀 One bulb of onion
🍀 Two Seasoning cubes
🍀 One cup of red oil
🍀 Four pieces of dry fish
🍀 One teaspoon of salt for taste
🍀 One plate of periwinkle (local called islam)
🍀 Water

PROCEDURE
In this procedure I will show you guys how I made this recipe

First I wash and peel my plantain then cut into pieces and set aside

After that I start to prepare my ingredients by washing them and cutting them then bring my mortar pound my fresh pepper and crayfish and set aside


Here I wash my periwinkle and the vegetable leaves thoroughly more than two to three times to helps in removing sand.

Then after prepare all that I set my pot on fire to dry water and after drying water I add my red oil into it and add my chopped of onions and pounded pepper and mix

After that I add my pounded crayfish, dry fish and periwinkle mix and then add my seasoning cubes salt for taste mix very well and add water cover allow to boil


When my pot is boiling I pour in my cut plantain and mix together and cover to cook for some minutes

Here the pot of plantain is cooked so I add my vegetable leaves mix together very well and leave for awhile

My pot of plantain porridge is ready just looking at the face you will know that it will taste very nice and yummy

I dish out my food for my husband and friends to eat and they were very happy 😊
