I'm very happy to see that someone actually posted this! Locally, we call it "Sinaw-Sinaw." Just like three weeks ago, we had some growing here on my balcony, and I just took some and put them in hot water. I can't say that I felt any changes, but I'm glad that I found some growing randomly at home. I've been looking for this whenever we are in the countryside and just riding.
I'm having gout issues, and they say that it's good for uric acid. I found a research paper about it online, and I think it has huge potential in helping us, especially since prescription medicines like Allopurinol have side effects. I try to steer clear of all these things.
Thank you for posting about this herb. I hope to see more of these here in Hive, where people share things and remedies that should be more known and not just lost to history, like the same nature's medicines that our ancestors somehow have not been able to pass on to us.
