Serving you another recipe that I found on the internet, this dish wasn't our typical food to cook. As, I remembered it was my first time trying this home cook sinigang. And I don't my parents or siblings loved it but I want to try another recipe.
I didn't plan to cook food for our breakfast but then my mom called me to fry the letchon that we left yesterday. And my sister suggested cooking the chicken on our ref and the only recipe I think was the sinigang. We didn't have pork so would replace it with chicken.
INGREDIENTS
chicken
Onion
Tomato
Seasonings(magic sarap, salt)
Soy sauce(optional)
Vegetables ( sayote, beans and chili)
Knor cubes
First, I defrost the chicken and it takes a while to defrost it since we put it in the freezer.
I didn't prepare all of the ingredients needed for this. So at that moment, I sliced the onion and put it on the pan.
Then, after the onion gets golden brown, I followed the tomatoes and cut it into pieces so it would easily soften.
As the tomatoes get softened, add the chicken on it and the water. Simmer it with at least 15 minutes or above.
The only vegetables we have in our ref were sayote and beans. So this is just the vegetables that I put in.
I thought my sister bought a sinigang mix in the market but she thought it was just a type of food to cook. I was really mad at her because how can I cook a sinigang without the sachet of it?. My mom just bought a knor cube and magic sarap in the sari sari store.
Add the sayote on the pan, if the chicken gets softened. Then add the seasonings to make it delicious. (Knor cubes, and the magic sarap). I added a little soy sauce and salt.
After that add the beans and the 1 chili. Then wait until the pan boils and charaann is ready to serve. At first, I didn't like the taste of it but as the vegetables were complete on the pan and the seasonings already added on the pan. It made the dish more tasty and I was so nervous what if they wouldn't like of this dish but anyway this fish looks so good.
