It's a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon, and it's a day free from cooperate activities and business. A day to spend with family and friends if need be. A day for rest. Spending it with snacks wouldn't be a bad idea. Making my snacks myself gives me a special kind of joy as i will be aware of the ingredients and make sure it's healthy.
Another Nigerian snack that i love snacking on if only it's a home made. Fish and egg roll are seen as same and it's prepared same what the slight difference is the protein used in preparing it. Just as the name implies, fish roll, we make use of fish to make this snack.
Ingredients and steps for making my snack
- 500g of all purpose flour
- 1kg of iced fish
- 1/4 of cup of pepper
- 800ml of vegetable oil
First step
Wash the fish, adding just pepper stem it for ten minutes. And mash it if you want, I mashed mine just the way i want it.
Step two
In a bowl pour in the flour add a little water and nide it well, then cut, roll to be smooth to your size of choice, add the fish and roll.
Step three
Put the oil on low heat, and put the rolls. Once it turns to golden brown scoop them out.
Our fish roll is ready, serve and snack it with any freshly squeezed juice of your choice and enjoy the snacks.
