Last time, we experienced a scheduled power interruption from 6:15 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. This day felt completely different since my dad was home for his vacation. With that being said, our routine was entirely unusual compared to what we were used to. He’s currently staying in Manila to work for us while we’re here in Nueva Ecija. Since my dad loves fixing furniture and doing random house tasks, we are always his assistants. There are times when I help, but most of the time, it’s my younger brother.
Inipit For Breakfast

After filming multiple videos that day, I had coffee with Inipit. I usually drink tea, but I didn’t get enough sleep and my entire existence craves for higher caffeine. Therefore, I chose coffee instead to kickstart my day. When my father arrived home the day before I wrote this blog, he brought two packs of Inipit. He told us that he bought them cheaper than the SRP, which is why he hoarded them. The reason they were cheap is because they were already slightly past the expiration date. It was only 1–3 days after, so we still ate them.
Putting Tarpaulin

As I said, my father always likes to work on different things around the house. Aside from the Inipit, he also brought a large tarpaulin from his company. It featured Heart Evangelista, and he said that their company was planning to dispose of it. I think there's something to do with the ongoing flood control issue here in the Philippines. Anyway, I helped him attach it to our gate by measuring, cutting the tarpaulin, and securing it using zip lock cable ties. Personally, I don’t like doing this kind of work, but I didn’t have a choice. We didn’t put it there to showcase Heart’s beauty as it was mainly for added privacy.
Puting Lupa Private Resort
The day before, my mom’s acquaintance invited us to her grandson’s 7th birthday. It was just walking distance from my grandmother’s house, so we decided to go.

At the entrance, there were a lot of parked vehicles, and I liked the interior of the place. Compared to other resorts, this one felt more private. It’s not a public resort as they only offer it for private events. This is where we usually go whenever we party or whatsoever.

While the program was ongoing, I took some photos. Honestly, I got bored since I wasn’t really close to them and just forced myself to stay entertained. I even saw my former Grade 12 teacher, who is also my mom’s cousin. But we didn’t talk since we never really interacted personally during the pandemic. Meanwhile, my sibling is close to that teacher, but I’m just not that type of person.

After about an hour of the program, including segments like “7 Candles,” we lined up for the catering area. The line was very long since they invited a lot of guests. I also took some photos to appreciate the resort’s aesthetic. To be honest, it wasn’t as good as I expected, but I still found it decent.

I’m not really a fan of the food they served, so I only got a few items. Some of the dishes I liked were already gone. I felt a bit frustrated since they removed some dishes early and didn’t prioritize other guests. However, I also reminded myself that we didn’t personally know the celebrant.

Here are our pictures, and overall, we weren’t that satisfied with the food. Still, I didn’t mind it too much since it was free. I’m sure you’ll enjoy my next blog about celebrating my younger sister’s recognition and my younger brother’s graduation.
