There's a saying that money doesn't buy happiness, but it definitely solves a lot of problems that cause stress. At the same time, we've all seen wealthy people who still seem unhappy.
So, if you had to choose, would you rather have financial freedom without your dream career, or your dream career with just enough money to get by?
I am opting for the second one without a second thought. I might regret my decision, but I am a staunch believer of freedom. So yeah! Give me fair money, I am all okay with it.
I'm sure that with your dream career and just enough money, you will be fine with no regrets. Sometimes it's better to do work we love so much than do work we don't like; that is the regret
Yeppie, there is no need to do something I don't like, juet because I am earning way more than I need or wish for.
Have a good day!
Exactly my point. Just stay with your dream and enjoy what comes with it.
And you too!
I'm not one who is even dreaming surplus money but I know what I'll use it if it does come in surplus.
So yeah, I'll choose my dream career with just enough money to do what I can do at each moment.
Happiness is subjective so we can't say money doesn't buy it.
That is true, happiness really is subjective, cos what makes me happy might not make you happy and money means different things to different people.
That's right!
But let the money come as soon as possible, I've been waiting. 🥹
I also like that you chose purpose over excess. For many people, doing work they genuinely enjoy is a form of wealth in itself
Yeah, even in the little things I do that I love, I feel genuinely happy about them. Talk more of my main purpose when I'm doing it.
I don't think we have to choose one over the other. Yes, life is unpredictable. Happiness is often temporary and money doesn't guarantee a life free of worries.
But we can intentionally choose to make the most with our chances. Fight to get the dream career, money and joy.
Ideally, yes, but if life eventually forced you to choose just one, which would it be?
But do you think fulfillment alone would still be enough if money became a constant source of stress?
