Eating BBQ ribs

in #food2 days ago

Eating BBQ ribs is pure, unadulterated wizardry.

An absolute masterclass in low-and-slow alchemy that completely redefines what pub food is supposed to be.

You take one look at that beautiful, dark mahogany bark, glistening under a sticky, sweet-and-tangy glaze and you already know you are about to experience greatness.

The second your teeth hit that meat, it does not just tear away.

No, it elegantly pulls off the bone with zero resistance.

The deep, rich oak smoke hits your taste buds, perfectly cutting through the rendered fat and the sharp kick of black pepper, leaving you speechless.

It is messy, it is primal, your hands are completely covered in sauce and honestly, you do not even care because every single bite is a hyper-focused, flavour-packed journey to absolute barbecue nirvana.

Winning.

Haha.. right there with you! :)

Amusingly I've been leaning into BBQ ribs as a source of weight loss, which is nuts. The thing is though, clearing a set of ribs usually means nothing else is required during that meal besides a drink so it is kinda win win, mostly protein consumption, especially good if the enjoyment and taste is taken into consideration.

Lets not forget the sense of achievement staring down at a set of stripped bones. It is primal, it is satisfying, lets just eat the ribs!

Forgive the plate design, it wasn't important, the ribs were!

Cheers, just drooled on my keyboard.
