It turns out that this concept of food in vehicles transformed to "cook on the street" is something I’m seeing more frequently, and I think it’s super profitable due to mobility, costs, and it also looks very appealing.
This food truck is called CHORISBULLSGRILL, and it’s one of those trucks I have seen at fairs and other spaces, but I hadn’t had the opportunity to eat there.

Resulta que este concepto de comida en vehículos transformados para "cocinar en la calle" es algo que estoy viendo con más frecuencia y creo que es superrentable por el traslado, costos y visualmente vende mucho. Este food trucks se llama CHORISBULLSGRILL y es uno de esos carros que he visto en ferias y espacios, pero no había tenido la oportunidad de comer en él.

It turns out we went to an event and I'm always thinking about, 'What are we going to eat?' Honestly, I always think, 'if I see sushi or something exotic, I'll eat it,' but then I start to smell the fried food, hear the sizzling of the bacon, the crunch of the vegetables, and I say, 'well, sushi can wait, the burger cannot!' and I end up choosing what we would say in the country: 'the old reliable' 😉.
¡Qué cosa tan maravillosa! Me encanta su concepto, el minimalismo que no necesita muchas cosas para brindar una excelente atención y sabor. Resulta que fuimos a un evento y siempre estoy pendiente de ¿Qué comeremos? Honestamente, siempre pienso "si veo un sushi o algo exótico, lo comeré", pero después comienzo a sentir el olor de lo frito, el sonido de lo chirriante del tocino, el crujir de los vegetales y digo "bueno, el sushi puede esperar, la hamburguesa ¡NO!", y termino decidiendo lo que diríamos en el país "la vieja confiable" 😉.
What we ate that night was a chicken burger; we can say that its main attraction is the choripanes, which refers to something similar to a hot dog, but instead of the traditional sausage, it is replaced with chorizo. The other ingredients are the same as those used in a traditional hot dog.
Lo que comimos esa noche fue una hamburguesa de pollo; podemos decir que su principal atractivo son los choripanes, que se refiere a algo parecido a un perro caliente, pero en vez de la salchicha tradicional, se cambia por chorizo. Los demás ingredientes, son los mismos que usamos en el perro tradicional.
The service is also extremely friendly and efficient. I think we brought them some luck because the place was almost empty, people would pass by and keep going, but we sat down and put our food on the table, and people started asking and approaching.
They were so kind that one of the diners couldn't eat chorizos or anything with sauces and bought something 'healthier,' and they allowed them to eat it with us. That is noteworthy because very few establishments allow you to bring food from another place.
I liked that they charge at the Central Bank rate (that official dollar issue is very annoying in my country) and there is no extra charge for add-ons like a glass of ice. Also, even though it was an event, they have their own sports screen, or whatever you specifically ask for, they set it up for you, and as if that weren't enough, they provide the much-desired Wi-Fi that everyone wants these days wherever we go.
An anecdote that happened to us was that at the end, we were very satisfied with the service and left a $1 tip. Anywhere in the world, this is normal, but here in Venezuela, it is not very common. So, it turns out that we placed it on the table and walked away; a few steps later, the boy followed us, called out to us, and even got the attention of other people—all to RETURN THE DOLLAR! 😊.
We thought something had happened, and when he told us the reason, we just clarified that it was for him, for which he thanked us for the gesture.
Without a doubt, we would eat there again if we see it at another event, because we loved everything we consumed that night 😉.
La atención también es superamable y eficiente. Creo que le trajimos suerte porque el sitio estaba como vacío, las personas pasaban y seguían de largo, pero nosotros nos sentamos y pusimos nuestra comida en la mesa y la gente comenzó a preguntar y acercarse. Fueron tan amables que uno de los comensales no podía comer de los chorizos ni nada con salsas y compro algo "más saludable" y ellos permitieron comerla con nosotros. Es de destacar eso, porque muy pocos locales aceptan que lleves comida de otro local.
Me gustó que cobran a tasa de Banco Central (ese tema del dólar oficial es muy molesto en mi país) y no hay aumento de precios por extras como el vaso con hielo. Además, a pesar de ser un evento, ellos tienen su propia pantalla de deportes o lo que le pidas de manera particular te la colocan, y por si fuera poco, te prestan el wifi tan ansiado de todos estos tiempos a donde llegamos.
Una anécdota que nos pasó fue que al finalizar, quedamos muy satisfechos con el servicio y le dejamos $1 de propina. En cualquier parte del mundo es normal, pero acá en Venezuela, no se estila mucho. Pues, resulta que lo pusimos en la mesa y nos retiramos; nos marchamos y a unos pasos, el chico nos siguió, nos llamó y llamó incluso la atención de otras personas, todo lo hizo para ¡DEVOLVERNOS EL DÓLAR! 😊.
Nosotros pensamos que algo había pasado y cuando nos dijo el motivo, solo le aclaramos que era para él, por lo que nos agradeció el gesto. Sin duda, volveríamos a comer allí si lo vemos en otro evento, porque nos encantó todo lo que consumimos esa noche 😉.
