Hello Fam!
I hope that life is treating you well wherever you are in this part of the world.
Food is a basic necessity in our life, and no matter which part of the world you live in but it is essential for everyone. Obviously, there are different cuisines and types of food; also like some people enjoy vegetarian food, and some people enjoy non-vegetarian food. I'm not trying to judge anyone here because I believe that food is a choice that any individual can make depending upon their own taste and preferences, so if somebody is eating non-vegetarian food, it is their choice, and we should respect that. On the other hand, if somebody is eating vegetarian food, then we also need to understand that everybody is right in their space.
I eat vegetarian food, and some of my friends follow a vegan diet, and they do not consume dairy products. Even some of my friends are hardcore non-vegetarians, and they do not enjoy vegetarian or vegan food. So whenever we meet, everyone orders whatever they want. Life is busy, and it is not possible to meet frequently, but a few times a year, we try to meet. Everyone lives in different cities for their work requirement, and during the festival celebration, we often get the opportunity to hang around and enjoy the food together. I don't mind eating food with them, being a vegetarian, because we all respect each other and do not force anything on anyone, so everybody's free to eat whatever they want.

This weekend I went outside, which I often do, and had this meal, which is a traditional N Indian meal, and it is combined with a couple of food dishes. This plate has got 2 veggies, curd, lentil, salad (onion and tomato), steamed rice, and 2 varieties of bread, along with a sweet dish, and this is called gulab jamun. It has everything that is needed for one person to have a complete diet, and it is a vegetarian meal that is sufficient for one person.
I work from home, so Monday to Friday, I have no time to go outside because my shift starts in the morning and ends in the evening, so I prefer to stay home. . So in a way, during the weekdays, I enjoy home-cooked food, and it is freshly prepared, so I avoid eating the food that is kept in the refrigerator. Fresh food is the best thing to have, and I do it during the weekdays, which I think is the best unhealthy habit. Only during the weekend, I go outside and I have food outside. So it's OK, and I believe I'm still following a good, healthy diet where outside food is not much that I consume, and one or two days a week is fine because I also do just one time of the day. What is your food choice, and do you also enjoy home-cooked food? Thank you!
