Hive is not only a cryptocurrency but a social network. That's why no matter how low Hive exchange rates go(because Bitcoin instability) most Hiveans are still going to continue here.

        imo. it's only partly because of BTC instability, but mostly due to the governance which centralises power to the largest stake holders, who tend to act (not all) for selfish interests (financial gain) rather than for the good of all (which would likely result in more financial gain)!
