Tenía mucho tiempo sin visitar el restaurante de comida rápida Arturos, el cual es todo ícono en Venezuela, pues estoy segura que todo venezolano ha escuchado sobre este restaurant y ha degustado algún producto, así sea los helados.
Una de los puntos llamativos de Arturos es, sin lugar a dudas, que ofrecen ensalada de repolllo morado, blanco y zanahoria junto al pollo, este complemento es bien distintivo, ya que no es usual que el pollo frito venga acompañado con este tipo de ensalada, ellos supieron dar ese toque wow al acompañante de su pollo.
En sus redes sociales estuve revisando las diferentes opciones que ofrecen y vi lo mucho que han ampliado su oferta, tomando en cuenta que ya había escuchado que el lugar no había perdido su calidad, decidí que sería el lugar propicio para agasajar a mi mamá en su día, a ella le encanta cuando salimos a comer y Arturos era un sitio que solíamos frecuentar, pero que por la situación país nos vimos obligadas a elegir sitios más accesibles para nuestras salidas foodie.
I had a long time without visiting the fast food restaurant Arturos, which is an icon in Venezuela, because I am sure that every Venezuelan has heard about this restaurant and has tasted some product, even the ice cream.
One of the striking points of Arturos is, without a doubt, that they offer purple, white and carrot cabbage salad with the chicken, this complement is very distinctive, since it is not usual that fried chicken comes with this type of salad, they knew how to give that wow touch to the accompaniment of their chicken.
In their social networks I was reviewing the different options they offer and I saw how much they have expanded their offer, taking into account that I had already heard that the place had not lost its quality, I decided that it would be the right place to entertain my mom on her day, she loves when we go out to eat and Arturos was a place we used to frequent, but because of the country situation we were forced to choose more accessible places for our foodie outings.
Sin embargo, han creados nuevas y variadas promociones, adicionado nuevos productos al menú, adicionando además el pago a crédito con Cashea, así que se ha vuelto más accesible el degustar de sus platillos. Luego de la revisión respectiva de las redes, ya tenía en mente lo que íbamos a pedir ese día, sin embargo, me sorprendí positivamente cuando vi las dos promociones que tenían para este 11 de mayo, día de la Madre en Venezuela, opté por la llamada Supermadre e pack, un menú de 10 piezas de pollo frito con ensalada y acompañante familiar, y así que con ese plan en mente nos fuimos felices.
Al llegar al lugar, me agrado ver que había suficiente espacio para sentarse y que la cola era de tan solo unas cinco personas, situación que cambió una media hora después de haber llegado. ¡Se empezó a llenar! Así que me alegré mucho por arribar en el momento indicado. La orden estuvo lista en poco tiempo, lo cual también le suma un punto positivo a esta experiencia culinaria.
La comida suele ser una deliciosa caja de recuerdos, y estos no faltaron ese día. Recordé las ocasiones en las cuales iba a este restaurante y disfrutaba de la comida y de la buena compañía. El pollo estaba jugoso, y eso es excelente cuando de pollo frito se trata, pues al tener un exterior crujiente y un interior jugoso quiere decir que está bien hecho y que se han respetado los tiempos de cocción, no tenía grasa sobrante y si bien en mi paladar recordaba que su cubierta tenía toques de pimienta, que esta vez no pude sentir, me encantó el sabor de este pollo.

After the respective review of the networks, I already had in mind what we were going to order that day, however, I was positively surprised when I saw the two promotions they had for this May 11, Mother's Day in Venezuela, I opted for the so-called Supermadre e pack, a menu of 10 pieces of fried chicken with salad and family side dish, and so with that plan in mind we left happy.
Arriving at the place, I was pleased to see that there was enough space to sit and that the queue was only about five people, a situation that changed about half an hour after arriving, it started to fill up! So I was very happy to arrive at the right time. The order was ready in no time, which also adds a plus point to this dining experience.
Food is usually a delicious box of memories, and these were not lacking that day. I remembered the times when I would go to this restaurant and enjoy the food and good company. The chicken was juicy, and that is excellent when it comes to fried chicken, because having a crispy exterior and a juicy interior means that it is well done and that the cooking times have been respected, there was no leftover fat and although in my palate I remembered that its coating had hints of pepper, which this time I could not feel, I loved the taste of this chicken.
La ensalada tampoco me decepcionó ni en su calidad ni la cantidad. La porción familiar ofertada está compuesta por cinco porciones de ensaladas regulares, crujiente, sedosa y dulce. ¡Excelente Comfort food hecha realidad!
The salad did not disappoint me either in its quality or quantity. The family portion offered is composed of five regular salad portions, crunchy, silky and sweet, excellent Comfort food made real!
La porción de papas familiar es inmensa, así que los presentes quedamos totalmente satisfechos, de hecho, bromeábamos por lo eternas que parecían las papas. Por cierto, y volviendo a la calidad del pollo frito, las piezas de pollo tenían un buen tamaño. ¡Genial!
The family portion of fries is huge, so those of us present were totally satisfied, in fact, we joked about how eternal the fries looked. By the way, and back to the quality of the fried chicken, the chicken pieces were a good size. great!
Como ese día quería aprovechar para probar otro producto de Arturos sumé al pedido unas alitas en salsa barbacoa, estaban muy buenas pero hasta el momento las de Bocados grill , me gustan más por su cubierta crujiente. De igual forma, están muy ricas las alitas en Arturos ¡No dudes en pedirlas si tienes la oportunidad!
El día transcurrió con sabores exquisitos, risas y cariño. La comida nos une y crea recuerdos inolvidables, y aunque sea comida rápida también tiene ese poder, no es algo que comerás a diario porque cuidar la alimentación también es de suma importancia, pero con consciencia, ejercicio y algunos buenos batidos considero que también podemos guardar espacio para este tipo de comida. ¡La idea es disfrutar sin excesos!
That day, I wanted to try another product from Arturos, so I added to the order some wings in barbecue sauce. They were very good, but so far, the ones from Bocados Grill are my favorite because of their crunchy coating. Likewise, the wings at Arturos are very tasty. Don't hesitate to order them if you have the chance!
The day passed with exquisite flavors, laughter and affection. Food unites us and creates unforgettable memories, and although it is fast food it also has that power, it is not something you will eat every day because taking care of your diet is also of utmost importance, but with awareness, exercise and some good smoothies I think we can also save room for this type of food. The idea is to enjoy without excesses!
