Sweetness accompanied with consequences

Everyone loves sugar, but sugar is not a friend to everyone. Although we need it to sweeten our teas, snacks and other food, abusing it on a daily basis has caused more harm than the enjoyment people derived from consuming it.

Health practitioners have advised that constant intake of sugar should be regulated just like alcohol, restricting minors especially to limit their consumption of these products. We found out that most of what toddlers and teenagers consume ranging from ice cream, candies, cookies etc has a large amount of sugar like candies whose major ingredients in its production is sugar. From consuming such amounts of sugar regularly it builds up in their body system and before they come of age, they are either down with obesity, metabolic syndrome due to the role it plays contributing to sicknesses like diabetes, high blood pressure and liver toxicity.

Normally sugar is not meant to be taken daily because the majority of food we consume already has a good amount of sugar in it during their breaking down process. reasons health wise it is advised to take it in low amounts. Research also suggests that sugar acts similarly to addictive substances which activate the same brain reward pathway as drugs.

For every lady and guy that desires to bring forth life into the world, staying away from sugar is non negotiable because excessive intake leads to infertility in both genders. It causes hormonal imbalance, poor egg and sperm quality. While growing up, I used to think my mom was being harsh on us because we were not permitted to buy sweets with our pockets money unless she ordered us too. Most of the time when our mates are spending their money, to avoid my mom's golden knock we would get something else. Yes I do love sweets so much but then I had to take permission before buying. Fast forward to when I started making my own money I became addicted to sugary food no day passes without me consuming sugary substance until a friend helped me stop and thank God I did. Prior to when I finally stopped I had gone for a test which I was told my sugar level was high.
If not for good friends I wonder what would have become of me, and because I was willing to stop too I followed all the instructions given to me now I'm back on track and my sugar level is normal.

Because sugar imposes lots of harm to the human system and sometimes children and even adults can be so nonchalant and would want to consume anything that is sweet in the month it would be a good idea if the government should regulate it the same way as alcohol limiting the production and distribution of these products in the market.

It is always in excess that things goes south. You were indeed lucky you had a friend who saved you from the clutches of diabetes and its consequences.

Yeah! Sugar itself has some health benefits the human body needs, so it was produced for a purpose. We humans will always want to do extreme and that's where the problem lies.

Thank you so much.

I know they say it is always the excess of a thing that is bad but when it been normalized like an average then it is okay. Everyone needs sugar in their bodies but then an excess of it is bad and friendly like you've mentioned.

How are you?

Too much of everything will always be bad. I had to constantly remind myself no sweets today, no carbonated drinks and the rest.

I'm good love. It's been a while.
