Healthy and nutritious breakfast. Broccoli and onion omelet.

Hello to all my friends from @foodiesbeehive. It is a pleasure and joy to share a new, healthy and nutritious preparation. Today I share with you what was a nutritious, healthy and easy to prepare breakfast with only three ingredients: broccoli, eggs and onion.

At the beginning of the week, specifically on Monday, I made a very special and healthy breakfast. Last time I went to the supermarket I bought enough broccoli for the whole week. I thought of using it not only in my lunches but also for breakfast. I thought of a broccoli and onion omelet. The combination of eggs, broccoli and onion turned out fantastic, nutritious and delicious. I found a practical and simple way to include broccoli in my breakfast; making it healthy, protein and complete.

Here is my step by step. With these ingredients I was able to prepare two tortillas.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 broccoli
  • 1 medium onion
  • Salt
  • Olive oil

PREPARATION

The first thing was to take the broccoli, separate the bunches from the stem, wash them and place them for three minutes in a container with water and vinegar. Next. I cut them and the onion into small pieces. Then, I added one by one the eggs in a large container and beat them with a fork. I added the salt and the chopped vegetables. Once ready, I took a small frying pan to medium low heat.

When it was hot, I added a drizzle of olive oil and half of the mixture. I covered for three minutes. At the end of the time, I proceeded to flip the tortilla with the help of a large plate and put it back in the pan to cook the other side of the tortilla. I covered it again for three more minutes. Once the first half was ready, I added more oil to the pan and added the other half, doing the same procedure as before.

Hola a todos mis amigos de @foodiesbeehive. Es un gusto y alegría compartir una nueva, saludable y nutritiva preparación. Hoy les comparto lo que fué un desayuno nutritivo, saludable y fácil de preparar con tan sólo tres ingredientes: brócoli, huevos y cebolla.
Este comienzo de semana, específicamente el lunes, realicé un desayuno muy especial y saludable. La última vez que fui al supermercado compré brócoli sufiente para toda la semana. Pensé en utilizarlo no sólo en mis almuerzos sino también para el desayuno. Pensé en una tortilla de brócoli con cebolla. La combinación de huevos, brócoli y cebolla resultó fantástica, nutritiva y deliciosa. Encontré una forma práctica y sencilla de incluir el brócoli en mi desayuno; haciéndolo saludable, proteico y completo.
A continuación mi paso a paso. Con estos ingredientes pude preparar dos tortillas.
INGREDIENTES
• 3 huevos
• 1/2 brócoli
• 1 cebolla mediana
• Sal
• Aceite de Oliva
PREPARACIÓN
Lo primero fué tomar el brócoli separar los racimos del tallo, lavarlos y los coloqué por tres minutos en un envase con agua y vinagre. Seguidamente. Los corté en trozos pequeños al igual que la cebolla. Posteriormente, agregué uno a uno los huevos en un envase grande y los bati con un tenedor. Agregué la sal y los vegetales cortados. Una vez listo llevé un sartén pequeño a fuego medio bajo.
Cuando estuvo caliente, agregué un chorrito de aceite de oliva y la mitad de la mezcla. Tapé por tres minutos. Al cabo del tiempo, procedí a voltear la tortilla con la ayuda de un plato grande y volví a colocar en la sartén para cocinar el otro lado de la tortilla. Volví a tapar por tres minutos más. Una vez lista la primera, agregué más aceite al sartén y agregué la otra mitad, haciendo el procedimiento anterior.
Asi estuvo terminado un nutritivo desayuno el cual repeti para el día martes. Me encantó al igual que a mi hijo y nieto. Espero que ustedes también puedan realizarlo en casa y disfrutarlo junto a sus seresqueridos. Reciban mis saludos y respeto desde este rincón del mundo. Bendiciones a todos.
