Homemade hand-made cheesy cheese pie – tasty and filling

Hello to all lovers of good food. I don’t want this to sound like some cooking show, but you really have to try making this pie.

My family absolutely loves it and it disappears from the table very quickly, while being simple and fast to prepare.

For this pie I needed:

1 pack of pie pastry sheets (500g)
1 dcl olive oil mixed with 1 dcl water
500g fresh cottage cheese
1 chicken egg
1 sour cream

Preparation:

First, I greased the baking tray with oil.

Then I opened the pastry sheets and separated two at a time, spreading them on the working surface and lightly sprinkling them with the oil and water mixture in a 1:1 ratio.

Next, I started making the cheese filling. In a medium deep bowl, I mixed the cheese, egg, and sour cream together. After that, I evenly spread the filling over the pastry sheets.

The next step was again separating 2 to 3 pastry sheets, brushing them with the oil and water mixture, and adding cheese filling across the whole surface. I repeated the process until all the pastry and filling were used.

I left the last pastry sheet empty, folded the pie, and brushed the top with the oil and water mixture. Then I placed it in a preheated oven and baked it at 200°C for around 20 minutes.

After baking, I took it out and cut it into pieces for serving.
