It's been two weeks since Valentine Day. I haven't posted anything about valentine day, but on that day I got scammed... by a pizza lol
Ok here how it started. I ordered a pizza on Valentine Night, I planned to have it together with my mom. I had no +1 that day, all the ladies I met from dating apps proven to be no good match for me.
The price was not cheap, it was 147.000 rupiah or around 8.8 USD. It was not expensive either, so the price was decent. 8 dollars for 2 pizzas, Margherita and Beef Pepperoni. Margherita was my mom favorite pizza, and beef pepperoni was my choice which was no veggie and still editable by my mom who was already an elderly.
So why did I pick that merchant anyway? Because it was a rising star in my hood, they just started few months ago and the rating was very high. People gave many good reviews. When I received the pizzas, everything was great. Their package was great, their delivery was on time, except until I opened them...
that's what I should be, but it did not happen that way because these were how they looked:
The pizza as the bread looked very good, the flavor was strong. The taste was great for the pizza. But don't pretend to be a fool there, you know what I mean right?
This was the beef pepperoni I got. I could guarantee you that the pizza tasted very well, the reviews were true but they were misleading. If I had a chance to meet the cook, I would give him a black eye for sure.
You cut the pizza into 6 pieces then add 6 slices of beef pepperoni and gave an extra one slice in the center. And you asked it to be called a beef pepperoni... well you weren't wrong, but you were asking people to punch your face if you kept doing that.
Now here was the Margherita pizza. Basically it was the same only they replaced the beef pepperoni with that leaves. Well, Margherita was supposed to have a strong basil flavor, so it was not completely wrong, but it was not right neither. Margherita was supposed to be a combination of tomatoes, basil and olive, where were the tomatoes? I saw no olive nor the flavor.
Seeing our pizzas were like that, we had a good laugh that night. We knew it was not a day where we delivered our wraith, it was a love day. The same reason why I did not post this one directly, I did not want to vent out strong anger...
In general, the taste was good, maybe very good. Only the toppings they gave was ridiculously stingy. I did not know whether they were like that, stingy and paying fake reviews or maybe they did not have the right crews on that day.
Well whatever it was, I have decided not to purchase any pizza from them anymore. There are many pizza outlets here, I want to those pizzas too and I won't stick to outlets that already disappointed me.. Anyway thanks for coming and reading this post, see you next time.
