Greetings everyone!
Today, I wanted to share a photo of a delicious snack prepared by my lovely wife this afternoon. These are golden, crispy Egg Mughlai Porotas, a popular dish from South Asian cuisine.

As you can see from the picture (taken right after frying), they are perfectly fried to a golden brown and stacked in our trusty kitchen basket. Mughlai Porota is essentially a thin flatbread (porota) that is stuffed with a mixture of seasoned beaten eggs, minced onions, green chilies, and fresh herbs, then folded into a rectangular parcel and deep-fried. The result is a flaky, crispy exterior with a flavorful, soft egg filling inside.

They smell amazing and tasted even better with a bit of sauce. It’s the perfect comfort food for a casual afternoon snack or evening tea. I'm lucky to have such a skilled chef in the house!
I highly recommend trying Mughlai Porota if you get the chance. Have you ever tried making them at home, or do you have a favorite variation? Let me know in the comments!
