I used to think that Portugal wasn't a suitable place for them, but we planted them and they grew and they produced fruit twice a year. Sometimes, due to low demand, people didn't dare, just like with mangoes. I have a neighbor with a mango tree and it produces fruit.
Ah wow!!π such an interesting story. I know in South Italy they produce some tropical fruits like mango and avocado, but in the North (where I live) in winter we have a lot of snow π
