        If I was uploading something so big, I would use Handbrake before. meaning, make it small enough to where you are not going to sit there for a whole day.

        I also suspect the encoding would take forever.

              Well, it would be annoying to cut it up when it was a video of me showcasing a playtest of a game :D
              Its only 16 mins, people upload 4 hour long videoes to youtube xD

              I have 200/200 connection. It shoudl take me 6-10 mins to upload that 16 min video to youtube xD
