Hi everyone, I am new here, invited by my friend @meno. I am a lover of gastronomy and recipe developer. I hope to share and learn a lot from this community. My name is Cristy Chloe, and food is my life. I go as LushEpicurean. #hivesnaps #foodiesbeehive #introduceyourself

Hi, welcome to Hive! This is a wonderful place, and at first we're all a bit confused, but we're learning little by little. You're very pretty; you should do makeup tutorials. I love food too, hehe, but I don't know how to cook. I am learning about makeup, though, and it would be great to see one of your makeup videos. Tag me if you do!
I wish you much success on Hive and also on Snapie
If you post into a community, or into your blog.. it will still show up in your profile. Depending on the frontend you are using, you can make it auto-repost so to speak.
Send me a msg later if you wish.. I'll explain, maybe share the screen to make sure it makes sense to you.
Will definitely need some explaining. Michael had a look at the platform last night from the eyes of a senior infrastructure and systems engineer, and he had a few things to share with me.
I'm very curious about his opinion too... maybe he explained this already, but the apps that interact with the blockchain, are more like windows into the same house. So, when you write a Snap from my app, other users using other apps can read it too.
Hi @chloefoxx
Welcome to the platform and to Foodies Bee Hive!
Below are two posts that will be very helpful for creating your own posts in this community, so we recommend reading them carefully.
If you have any questions, you can contact a member of the team.
Have a great day!
Ah, I did not see the rule about photos of myself making the recipes, I usually only photograph my food, especially after an elaborate dish, because hehe, I look like a mess by then, but I do have videos of myself, and my kitchen. The photos are always taken on the same counter🥰
Hi again @chloefoxx
We expect our users to publish well-developed and documented recipes. That's why, in the posts we provide, we explain the community guidelines in detail and offer suggestions regarding written posts.
Regarding videos, ideally you should mention Hive within them and add subtitles (in English) for greater reach and better understanding of the recipes. .
So we encourage you to make your posts, respecting our guidelines. In this way, you'll be contributing to a global recipe collection available to thousands of readers.
Best regards @chloefoxx
Question, is it acceptable that I provide written recipes, as opposed to videos? I ask because I am a recipe developer, I do most of my work in writing.
🙌 You're back! Great to see your second post on Hive, @chloefoxx!
Sticking around is what makes the difference here — most newcomers post once and disappear. You didn't. That already puts you ahead.
A few things that help early on:
- Engage with others – comments on other posts often bring more attention than waiting for votes
- Use relevant tags – they help the right communities find you
- Be consistent – even one post a week builds an audience over time
Keep going! The Hive community rewards persistence. 🚀
Hey Chloe... you are learning the ropes super quick! What website are you using for blog posts?
I don’t have any website for blog posts. My recipes are in my files on my iCloud and MacBook, I am writing them all in professional format, along with the development process, as part of my future cookbook project. The link is of a PDF on my phone
