Hi Hivers or so I call it, so first let me introduce myself, I am Brian Isidore, but you can call me Bri-Bri, 19 years old from San Fernando Cebu, studied at Cebu Institute of Technology University (CIT-U) with a program of Bachelor of Arts Major in English with Applied Linguistic (ABENGL) First year student, why do I take this Program? Well for practical purposes, because ABENGL is a broad program with many opportunities in the future. It also widens my knowledge and enhances my grammar and vocabulary in many ways this is not my first option my first option is to be a entrepreneur but I’m not born rich so yeah, I take ABENGL. Life is full of hurdles but with enough strength I know we can do it.
Being a student and a working student at the same time is quite challenging since you need to focus on both, but with enough strength and motivation everything is possible and I believe in the saying that “less talk more walk” or what I mean is less complain, more work. I am a passionate student with less motivation. I can also say that I’m a hard-working person.
I am the youngest child among nine siblings, and can you imagine like in one house nine people lives, that is why I keep on studying even though this is not my dream program, but who knows maybe God put me here for a better future. What keeps me motivated? Well one thing I always say is that my family is my motivation one lost and everything will disappear. Now let’s talk about my parents. My mother’s job is manicure and pedicure though it has a small income, but everything works for us, and my father’s job is tricycle and yeah it their income is not much for us. That is why I take on as a working student to lessen the burden on paying my college fees. We don’t have a family Picture so might as well use the wedding pic.
I love reading reincarnation comics and I always dreamt on being reincarnated HAHAHA but then it was a fantasy thing, so it is impossible, why do I want to be reincarnated? Well to be honest this world is full of insensitive; hypocrites and it will destroy somebody’s dream. Well, in my case I used this like what I call mind escape. It is like I make a story in mind making me the hero or in some case the richest among all of people just to escape reality. There are hurdles in life that hurt us the most but just remember that every hurdle of challenges we face has reason, it may be a way to make us stronger soon or making us mature in many ways we just need to keep on moving forward to achieve our goals.
Listening to music and dancing randomly is my way of coping with things that hurt me the most. It is also a way of escaping reality for me like listening to some like random music and making a dance move randomly. I love to explore different genres of music and different dancing moves or styles like it is fun I advise you to do the same though don’t do it in public because everyone will think that you’re an idiot HAHAHA.
Why am I here on Hive?
Well, I’ll be honest. I’ve been looking for a website to rant and thankfully my cousin Header 2 introduces me here and the first question I ask myself is, is, is Hive free? And thankfully it is free so I can rant anytime I want without anyone invalidating my feelings because to be honest I’m filled with bad emotion in me so as much as I want to rant there is no one to run to so that is why I’m thankful that my cousin and her friend introduced me here. And eating, traveling and watching movies is like my way of coping with things.
Being here in Hive makes me feel like I’m in a new world because like I’m to focus on like one app and like I don’t know what to at that app anymore so yeah this is like a new world to me and I feel like I want to gatekeep this but then I might be titled as selfish person so yeah I want to introduce my friend here and this will be my safe place.
I hope that through my ranting and motivating myself there will be someone who will make my rant and motivation will motive it is some point, and I hope that I can inspire someone others to find their motivation, voice and road to walk on and to embrace their passion on keeping on moving forward despite the hurdle in life. And I believe each one of us has a water bucket that is almost spilling and I’m excited to share mine here.
So yeah, I discovered Hive through my cousin @ekang and her friend @helianthus-chloe who is like I believe staying here and doing their stuff here I’ll tell stories on how they introduce this to me. So one night I was like scrolling to some app feeling bored and then my cousin was like spamming a message on me like saying “hey” a lot of time and it bothered me so I reply saying “what” and then the she reply saying “there is a website that will like make you post anything you want” and then I reply “what website” and then the conversation continues and then she say that “just wait because someone will orient you on what to do and don’t “and then I wait patiently(even though I have small patience HAHAHA).
And then I got added on the group chat and the person who orients me is ate @helianthus-chloe who I think is kind because base on her typing, she is kind and beautiful and she answers our question like straightly and then she orients us like in detailed and I like being instructed in detail that is why I am intrigued on joining Hive to aside for finding a safe place.
And then in like a couple of days I got oriented by sir @intoy.bugoy I like how he explains things, the clarity of how he explains like you'll learn a lot of things from him. his explanation is like every detail and every info is there. And I want to thank him because I learn a lot on what and how to use Hive. I'm fascinated about the things that he discusses, and it catches attention on every detail he says, and I am so grateful the way he talks things out like all details gives a vibe that catches your attention.
I'll be forever indebted with this people who greet and make me as one of their family also to my friend and community. I know that with the presence of this people and with their guidance and encouragement this platform will be fun and enjoyable, with the people who surrounds me and help me build up this platform. I know that thought this platform we will make a good bonding. So yeah, I am so grateful with this community, and I know in the near future we will share the same dream and passion in life.
