I thank the Lord for the gift of Life!
Hi everyone. How are you doing? I hope you are doing fine and safe. I am very excited to share with you this special day of mine. It's my 39th birthday and our 10th wedding anniversary.
Every birthday is meant to be celebrated. Celebrating birthdays is a symbol of being thankful. We thank that until this moment we still breath and enjoy life. It's a reminder of how good God is.
I'm happy because people who knew me didn't forget that day.
My birthday last Saturday, November 8, after our Sabbath worship in the afternoon we celebrated it with a quick pizza Party. My husband bought 9 boxes of pizza and we brought it to church.
Kids were happy and we all enjoy the food on the table.
We informed our family members to be in a restaurant where we usually eat out especially when we have special occasions.
My children were so excited and kept reminding me to buy the cake to make the birthday celebration complete. So here we are, while waiting for the cake,we took a snapshot in front of this Christmas tree.
It was a good timing when we arrived in the restaurant. We still see vacant seats for the us and we hurriedly get in and choose our seats.
We ordered food and waited about 30mins. We chose menus which kids love to it of course.
Whenever this restaurant knew that someone is celebrating their birthdays, they play the birthdays song, and they sing and dance for the celebrants.
They also give a slice of cake with candle or some leche flan.
I've got leche flan though.
Everyone is enjoying the food. Actually, we were so hungry already.
So here's our order.
Pochero - a bowl of beef stew with various vegetables
Garlic Chicken - fried chicken with red sauce
Buttered Chicken
Chopsuey
Noodles
we had grilled chicken as well.
Everyone became silence and enjoying the food in front of them.
My dear Hivers, celebrate special days with your family.
It doesn't need to be expensive but as long as you can give joy in different way then there's no reason not to celebrate it.
