Hi guys! How are you all? I hope everyone is doing well. Alhamdulillah, I am also doing well. Who doesn’t love eating fuchka, right? Today I made fuchka in a slightly different style. Since the afternoon, I had been craving fuchka, but I couldn’t make the regular one because I didn’t have all the ingredients at home. Then I thought, why not try making fuchka in a different way?

So today I made fuchka using chanachur. I had never tried this before, but trust me, after eating this fuchka today, I really loved it. It tasted amazing and was so much fun to eat. So come on, let me share the recipe with you all. 😊

1.Tamarind pulp,
2.Water,
3.Salt,
4.Black salt,
5.Chili powder,
6.Roasted cumin powder,
7.Sugar (optional).

Process:

First, soak the tamarind in water and extract the pulp. Then add more water according to your preferred thickness. After that, add salt, black salt, chili powder, roasted cumin powder, and sugar if you like it slightly sweet. Mix everything well. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.

Then, the fuchka needs to be fried until it’s crispy. Now, take one fuchka, break it slightly in the middle, add a little filling and a little tamarind water, and it’s ready to eat. Trust me, you should try making this at home at least once. It tastes amazing!

Fuchka is a popular and delicious street food snack from Bangladesh and India. It is a crispy, hollow puri filled with a spicy and tangy mixture, often served with tamarind water. Fuchka is loved for its burst of flavors—spicy, sour, and slightly sweet all at once. It’s fun to eat, usually enjoyed in small bites, and is perfect for sharing with friends and family. Its crunchy texture combined with the flavorful filling makes it a truly irresistible treat.

Fuchka is not just a snack; it’s an experience! Each bite gives a perfect mix of crunch from the puri, spice from the filling, and tanginess from the tamarind water. It’s very popular during street food festivals and rainy days when people love to gather and enjoy it fresh. Fuchka can also be made in many creative ways, like using different fillings such as chanachur, boiled peas, or even sweet versions. It’s quick to eat, inexpensive, and brings people together—whether it’s friends chatting on the roadside or family enjoying it at home. Truly, fuchka is a bite-sized explosion of joy and flavor!
