Hi Hive family! I am back with another personal vlog!

I am absolutely loving my journey sharing life experiences here on Hive - it's been so rewarding to connect through these stories!

Here I give you a short summary of today's heartfelt (+ funny!) story (to learn more just watch the video!):

On July 25th I visited my dear OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker) friend in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital of Hong Kong on her birthday 🎂. I brought her a cake thinking we could celebrate with candles... but double sadness struck:

  • She wasn't allowed to eat anything as only a few hours were left before her operation.

  • My "brilliant" plan to buy a lighter at the hospital's 7-Eleven turned out to be an EPIC FAIL! The staff immediately told us: "Ma'am, this is a hospital - fire hazard, po!"

I hope you enjoy my video and the photos!

Note: Maybe you have read that I am planning to leave my job es domestic helper in Hong Kong to start a food selling business in the Philippines soon. That is an opportunity to become more independent and FREE but also a high financial risk.
Therefore I am looking for options to create some additional income. One of these potential future sources of income is my new YouTube channel (where you can also watch the video I show you here). I created it about one month ago and have now already 94 subscribers.
I would be more than happy if some of you might support me on YouTube, too!

Hmmm... which cake would you have chosen?

On my (rather long) way to the hospital.

Happiness to meet each other despite of her sickness: I guess you can surmise our smiles in spite of the obligatory face masks?

Hmmm... so yummy!

Absolutely. Patients are not allowed to take anything hours before a major surgery. However, your friend looks like a fighter and I'm convinced she would come out of the surgery strong. I wish her a safe recovery.

Happy birthday to her in retrospect🥳

Thank you for the good (birthday) wishes for her! Her operation was successful and she already feels a little bit better again.

That's amazing news

I hope she will get well soon.

About your plan, you can still pursue having a business - take the risk, who knows you will boom in your business. Hehe

Thanks for stopping by, @femelyn.blog!

I hope she will get well soon.

Thank you! Her operation was successful and so far her condition is slowly improving.

,,, who knows you will boom in your business.

Cross your fingers for me, hehe!
