On our second day in Manila, we never waste our time to make it productive. We woke up early and agreed to visit at least 2 churches. Our first activity on NAC 45 was still at 3:00 pm. So we still have time to stroll around Manila. We first visited Quiapo Church and then proceeded to Baclaran Church. After Baclaran, we went to SM Mall of Asia. That was my first time visiting the Mall. It was huge, and I think a day tour is not enough. Outside the mall, trees and plants were planted and landscaped perfectly to make the surroundings cool and fresh, even if it was in the middle of the city. The mall was also designed uniquely and looks amazing. We went inside and looked for fast food to take our lunch before going to the venue of our first activity. We find it hard to look for fast food because the mall is huge and we're not yet familiar with the entrances and exits of the mall. Despite that, we still enjoyed walking together while having our window shopping until we found the exact location of their food section.
When we were on the food chain, we saw a lot of customers. We even saw a BCBP member because they had the same uniform as ours. So I concluded that the convention center was just near our area. I chose a food stall that offered a cheap one to order for our lunch because, as I looked at the prices of their menu, it was costly,y and it was the first day of our event, and we still had lots of plans for our travel, so we needed to spend wisely. I ordered a belly with matching soup and pinakbe, and water as our drink. It was good for one person only, but I ordered extra rice so that it's already enough for me and my husband. So it's already a budget meal. Hahahaha. After eating, we went to the venue of our first activity, the NAC Assembly.
That's all for now, see you on my next blog. Thank you, and God bless everyone.
