Hello! April is just around the corner which means it's spring season. Flowers are starting to bloom as well as hope.

It's been so long since the last time I wrote something here and I think it is a great thing to talk about Spring in my first blog right after taking such a long break.
In some countries such as mine, we only get to experience two seasons unlike others where they get to witness four seasonal changes each year. However, that is not a reason to stop us feeling the spirit of spring. Now, let me take you along with me to celebrate Sakura Fest our way!

Just recently, starting from February 27 to March 15, SM Jmall brought Sakura Fest to life allowing Cebuanos, Filipinos from other regions, and foreigners to experience the cherry blossom season in Cebu.
It hasn't been a while since I and my friends officially became working 'adults.' And with our busy schedules we rarely get to meet each other. Hence, taking the event as an opportunity for us to hang out, and just the fact that we couldn't miss this special event—we decided to meet up.

What do you think will be the best way to celebrate the Cherry Blossom festival? Well, it's through desserts and snacks 🌸. It's so amazing of them to bring different Japanese desserts like mochi, dango 🍡, tanghulu, and more.

Different-flavored desserts such as chocolate, vanilla, mango, and its highlights the strawberry-flavored and macha-flavored desserts displayed in every stalls just filled our hearts with excitement.

Who wouldn't feel much excitement after seeing varieties of sweets to choose from, right?
They even installed a Sakura tree on the sides and some origami works tied on it.

But wait, that doesn't end there! After eating some desserts, we headed to the second floor and ate another Japanese delish. We got some ramen 🍜 in different sets to share among us.

One of us ordered the ramen set with sushi 🍣, the other got the ramen set with tempura 🍤, the other a regular ramen, and I got the ramen set with gyoza 🥟. Although, I haven't finished my ramen because it came with rice and it's quite a big serving bowl of ramen, I would say I enjoyed the food a lot.

After enjoying lots of delicious food, we headed to our final destination of the day which is "TOPS" a popular tourist destination in the heart of Cebu. It's literally a place on top of a mountain area.

The place serves a lot of things to its visitors; varieties of food places to choose from: restaurants, cafes, and pizza place. It also have claw machines to play and souvenir shops. But the main reason why lots of people go there is to see the beautiful sunset and to see the wonderful view of the city from there. City lights looking like stars from afar and the fresh breathe of air are considered gems.

However, after taking photos with my friends we just decided to head back down because specifically the night we went there was a bit too freezing than usual.

People could go to TOPS by bus at IT park, it's a two-way trip already for Php 200 including both the entrance fee and the Shuttle Bus service fee.
It was such a perfect way to end our special day together.
