Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!
Time just keeps on moving along, and we have made it through the final Caturday before Christmas... and we are quickly closing in on the end of the year 2025.

The Hoomans have finished their annual craft show calendar of events and are now fully home for the holidays.
Of course, they are also very busy with their Christmas preparations... we already got some holiday treats in the form of new handmade catnip mice from the last event they were attending! A very nice start!

We missed doing this week's update on actual Caturday because the Hoomans had visitors for the Solstice... and wouldn't you know it, both those visitors brought their dogs!
The horror of it all! Dogs in the house again... although it's not really a big deal as we isolate ourselves in the Dad-Hooman's office, which is where most of the kitty jungly gym is, anyway!

It was a little scary, though, because both of these were quite large dogs.
However, they are gone now, and everything is pretty much back to normal, except for the lingering smell of dog!

Now we are going to enjoy a few quiet days before the Hoomans have visitors again for the annual Christmas feast on Deember 25th. It has become a bit of a tradition and it's the same visitors every years... and thankfully those visitors are "cat people!"
Meanwhile, we have had some pretty harsh winter weather, and the lights even went out a few times, the longest of which was 16 hours. But the Hoomans had a nice fire in the fireplace, and that's always a good way to get some warmth on your belly!

Sadly, we are not allowed to be in the dining room with the Christmas tree — I can't imagine why? — even though I have managed to sneak in there a couple of times...
It seems a bit unfair that they decorate a tree with shiny balls and paper... and then don't allow us to play with them!
Maybe I'll get to sneak in there again!

In other news, I continue to be "in the bonus" with the @curatorcat blog, in the sense that we made our Hive goal for 2025 a couple of weeks back, and I officially made it to "Dolphin" status... something we wanted to achieve pretty much since our humble start, back in 2018.
With the cryptosphere rather shaky these days, I'm not going to set any new goals until after the turn of the year.
