We'd stopped preparing meals, which of course culminated with the immense lunch cooked by my great-aunt and my cousins, mostly, while other relatives, including us, brought sweets and liqueurs. Anyway, we always have a menu for the Epiphany lunch, which I'll translate for you, so you can understand how hungry we were when we read it!
- Appetizers: mixed crostini and cold cuts
- First courses: pappardelle with wild boar sauce and ricotta and spinach cannoli
- Second courses: rabbit with black olives and meat skewers
- Assorted holiday desserts, sparkling wine, and coffee
And they always cook with top-quality products and they cook beautifully!

Buenas noches, amigos del blog, ¿qué tal? Hoy sigo muy liada con la mudanza, de la que os hablaré más adelante. Mientras tanto, terminaré de hablaros de la comida de Reyes, ¡cuya primera parte encontraréis al final de la entrada! Habíamos dejado de preparar comidas, que, por supuesto, culminó con la inmensa comida que prepararon mi tía abuela y mis primos, sobre todo, mientras que otros familiares, incluyéndonos a nosotros, trajimos dulces y licores.
En fin, siempre tenemos un menú para la comida de Reyes, que os traduciré para que entendáis el hambre que teníamos cuando lo leímos.
- Aperitivos: crostini mixto y embutidos
- Primeros platos: pappardelle con salsa de jabalí y cannoli de ricotta y espinacas
- Segundos platos: conejo con aceitunas negras y brochetas de carne
- Postres festivos variados, vino espumoso y café ¡
Y siempre cocinan con productos de primera calidad y cocinan de maravilla!

The pappardelle and cannoli were phenomenal (I even had seconds of the cannoli). The rabbit was delicious, and I was happy to eat it because it was so much I hadn't eaten it and I rarely cook it. The skewers were obviously good, even though I couldn't finish them. Then for dessert, there were various biscuits and chocolates, puddings, and two types of tiramisu. Everything was delicious. At the end of lunch, we were full, we said our goodbyes warmly, and my great-aunt, like every year, gave us a small gift of food products that you see in the photo (except for the chocolates, which we immediately ate with other relatives). It was, like every year, a beautiful day, and I hope that the new year will be repeated and that we will all be healthy and present!
Por supuesto, todo estaba delicioso, con entrantes exquisitos: queso crema y nueces, piña, aceitunas, jamón cocido y embutidos de primera calidad. Los pappardelle y los cannoli estaban fenomenales (incluso repetí los cannoli). El conejo estaba delicioso, y me alegré de comérmelo porque era tan abundante que no lo había comido y rara vez lo cocino. Las brochetas estaban obviamente buenas, aunque no pude terminarlas.
