The year 2024 has started weeks ago, in fact, we are already more than halfway through January, so it is the ideal time to give thanks for the past year and welcome the new one; and that is why today I have decided to make this post, which at the same time is a recount, a thank you and a welcome, a welcome full of optimism and hope for this year that is beginning.
The year 2023 was (among other things) a year of growth and achievement for the Plant Power (Vegan) community. It also meant the opportunity to get to know each member of the vegan family better, which allowed the community to settle down and become more cohesive as a group, which is important, because it is precisely this union that is one of the factors that helps the blockchain to maintain and continue to grow. In this ecosystem, everyone is important: The content creators, the whales, the witnesses, the communities, making up the scaffolding that supports the platform.
It was a great pleasure for us to arrive at our second birthday in September 2023, and to be able to see the beautiful family that we have formed in the community. It is an honour for us to have good content creators, who make great recipes, and also behave like a family by visiting, commenting, voting and reblogging the content of their peers, as this is what allows us to build and strengthen a community and by extension, the ecosystem.
Moreover, since last year we have been very fortunate to have the support of developer witness @sagarkothari88, who has supported us extensively in the vegan community, demonstrating his sincere commitment to the growth of not only our community, but many others and the Hive platform in general. Even today, through his Hive Curators project and community, he continues to recognise the work of vegan content creators. So we invite you to support with your votes, the great work that @sagarkothari88 does as a developer witness.
Looking back on our work in 2023, we are very satisfied with what we have achieved at the community level. I would like to outline some of our achievements below:
- Subscribers: By the end of 2023 we had 1,789 subscribers. Today the figure is 1,904.
- We have an average number of active users, ranging from 150 to 200.
- In the community there is constantly a lot of interaction and comments, usually over 700 interactions, which is great because this strengthens community ties.
- As of May 3, 2022, we are paying our valued delegators 100% of the profit generated by curation, which we do on an ongoing basis, on a weekly basis.
- As of this date we have reached "Meatless Monday" number 78, of which we have already published 32 editions during the year 2023. Currently each of the 6 posts selected for this special curation receive 3% of the post reward.
- Weekly curations of vegan content "Vegan Love to Us", have reached the number 78, of which 51 editions corresponded to the year 2023. We recognise 3 weekly posts, awarding them 3% of the profit of the post.
- Weekly content curations outside the vegan niche, "Vegan Love to All", have reached number 76, of which 47 issues were already published in the year 2023. Also 3 selected content creators receive 3% of the reward derived from the post.
- The weekly "The Best of the Week" special cures have reached number 72 to date. In 2023 we have already published 41 issues of this award, in which we award a prize in Hive, @ecency points and $foodie tokens to the 3 best vegan recipes of the week.
- Our vegan shopping challenge: "Your Veggie Shopping" is now in its 23rd edition. During the year 2023 we held 16 calls for entries for these competitions, in which all participants are winners, although sometimes, due to the quality of the entries, we give special recognition to some participants.
- From April 2023 we partnered with the @leofinance team, which implied support for the content creators and the community, as special activities were carried out: We started with the initiative "The Best Vegan Lion of the Week", a publication that invited people to vote for the best vegan recipe, through a #pool in a #thread. Initially, the winner was awarded 60% of the reward derived from the following week's post. At the end of 2023, the 4 selected content creators received between 15% and 20% of the profit. This activity lasted for 36 weeks. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire @leofinance team and especially @anomadsoul.
- The other activity we developed with the @leofinance team was the "Weekend Threading" initiative, which lasted for 20 weeks, and consisted of participants submitting a #thread according to the specifications of each week. Three winners of 1 HBD each were selected, courtesy of Plant Power (Vegan), and the @leofinance team voted for the best #threads and awarded 5 of them with $leo tokens.
- During the year 2023 we have the support and inspiration of the @solarisfuture project, with which we made a total of 2 contests "Vegan Love for the Planet: Reuse" and "Vegan Love for the Planet: Reduction". We invite you to get to know and support the @solarisfuture project, which deserves all possible support as it works for the health, conservation and protection of our only home in this vast universe: Planet Earth.
- For the celebration of our second anniversary, we called for a birthday cake competition, which had a total of 22 entries, 22 beautiful and amazing cakes that we awarded with 60 hive, distributed in different places and honourable mentions.
- In the month of October 2023 we begin to celebrate the birthdays of the active members of the vegan family, that is, we have celebrated three months of birthdays. In each post, a gift is given to the birthday children of the month, consisting of $hive, in addition to highlighting the work done by them on the platform.
We also want to thank the whales, projects and curation houses and friendly communities, who with their votes support the community work of Plant Power (Vegan) and the posts published by content creators in our community. A thousand thanks to all of you!
Without our delegators and without those who follow our voting trail, we could hardly do this work. The vegan vote is strengthened through delegations to @plantpoweronhive and following our trail, which allows us to vote for good content made inside and outside our niche. We are totally grateful!
To all our subscribers, old and new, we also want to express our sincere thanks for choosing Plant Power (Vegan) to share your vegan recipes, and while you don't have to be vegan to post here, we do value respect and honesty towards our niche, by publishing 100% vegan content. Without content creators no community exists, so our work is by and for you. Thanks with all my heart!
I want to end this post by saying that it is an honor for me to be the owner and administrator of the Plant Power (Vegan) community, as it has become a beautiful space with good vibes. Likewise, I reiterate my commitment to this community continuing to grow, and offering new activities and opportunities to subscribers and content creators in general. El año 2024 ha comenzado semanas atrás, de hecho, ya vamos a más de la mitad del mes de Enero, así que es el momento ideal para agradecer el año pasado y dar la bienvenida al nuevo año; y por eso hoy he decidido hacer este post, que a la vez es de recuento, de agradecimiento y de bienvenida, una bienvenida plena de optimismo y esperanza para este año que está comenzando.
El año 2023 significó, (entre otras cosas) para la comunidad Plant Power (Vegan), un año de crecimiento y de logros. También implicó la oportunidad de conocer mejor a cada miembro de la familia vegana, lo que permitió a la comunidad asentarse y cohesionarse más como grupo, lo cual es importante, porque es precisamente esa unión, uno de los factores que favorece que la blockchain se mantenga y siga creciendo. En este ecosistema todos somos importantes: Los creadores de contenido, las ballenas, los testigos, las comunidades, conformando el andamiaje que sostiene a la plataforma.
Para nosotros fue muy grato arribar en el mes de septiembre 2023 a nuestro segundo cumpleaños, y poder ver la hermosa familia que hemos conformado en la comunidad. Es para nosotros un honor el contar con buenos creadores de contenido, que hacen estupendas recetas, y además se comportan como una familia al visitar, comentar, votar y rebloguear el contenido de sus otros compañeros, pues esto es lo que permite construir y fortalecer a una comunidad y por extension, al ecosistema.
Por otra parte, desde el año pasado tenemos la gran fortuna de contar con el apoyo del testigo desarrollador @sagarkothari88, quien nos ha respaldado ampliamente en la comunidad vegana, demostrando su sincero compromiso con el crecimiento no solo de nuestra comunidad, sino de muchas otras y de la plataforma Hive en general. Incluso en la actualidad, a través de su proyecto y comunidad Hive Curators, continúa reconociendo el trabajo de los creadores de contenido vegano. Así que les invitamos a que apoyen con sus votos, la gran labor que hace @sagarkothari88 como testigo desarrollador.
Haciendo una retrospectiva del trabajo desarrollado en el año 2023, nos sentimos muy satisfechos por todo lo realizado a nivel comunitario. A continuación, quiero exponer algunos de los logros obtenidos:
- Suscriptores: Al cerrar el año 2023 contábamos con 1.789 suscriptores. Hoy día la cifra es de 1.904
- Tenemos una media de usuarios activos, que oscila entre los 150 y 200.
- En la comunidad constantemente hay gran cantidad de interacción y comentarios, generalmente por encima de las 700 interacciones, lo cual es genial porque esto fortalece los lazos comunitarios.
- Desde el 3 de Mayo del año 2022, estamos pagando a nuestros apreciados delegadores, el 100% derivado del beneficio generado por curación, lo cual hacemos de forma continua, con una frecuencia semanal.
- A esta fecha hemos alcanzado el "Meatless Monday" número 78, del cual durante el año 2023 publicamos 32 ediciones. Actualmente cada uno de los 6 posts seleccionados para esta curación especial, reciben el 3% de la recompensa del post.
- Las curaciones semanales de contenido vegano “Vegan Love to Us”, han alcanzado el número 78, de las cuales, 51 ediciones correspondieron al año 2023. Reconocemos 3 posts semanales, otorgándoles el 3% del beneficio del post.
- Las curaciones semanales de contenido fuera del nicho vegano, “Vegan Love to All”, han alcanzado el número 76, de las cuales 47 números fueron publicados en el año 2023. También 3 creadores de contenido seleccionados reciben el 3% de la recompensa derivada del post.
- Las curaciones semanales especiales “The Best of the Week”, a la fecha han alcanzado el número 72. Durante el año 2023 publicamos 41 números de este reconocimiento, en el cual otorgamos una premiación en Hive, puntos @ecency y token $foodie a las 3 mejores recetas veganas de la semana.
- Nuestro reto de compras veganas: “Your Veggie Shopping” ya va por la edición número 23. Durante el año 2023 hicimos 16 convocatorias para estos concursos, en los cuales todos los participantes resultan ganadores , aunque en ocasiones, por la calidad de las entradas, damos reconocimientos especiales a algunos participantes.
- A partir del mes de Abril 2023 hicimos alianza con el equipo @leofinance, lo que implicó apoyo para los creadores de contenido y la comunidad, ya que se hicieron actividades especiales: Comenzamos con la iniciativa “The Best Vegan Lion of the Week”, publicación que invitaba a votar por la mejor receta vegana, a través de una #pool en un #thread. Inicialmente el ganador obtenía como premio el 60% de la recompensa derivada del post de la semana siguiente. Al finalizar el año 2023, los 4 creadores de contenido seleccionados recibían entre 15% y 20% del beneficio. Esta actividad se prolongó por 36 semanas. Aprovechamos para expresar nuestro agradecimiento a todo el equipo @leofinance y en especial a @anomadsoul
- La otra actividad que desarrollamos con el equipo @leofinance fue la iniciativa “Weekend Threading”, la cual se prolongó por 20 semanas, y consistía en que los participantes deberían presentar un #thread de acuerdo a las especificaciones de cada semana. Se seleccionaban 3 ganadores de 1 HBD cada uno, cortesía de Plant Power (Vegan), y el team @leofinance votaba los mejores #threads y premiaba 5 de ellos con token $leo.
- Durante el año 2023 contamos con el apoyo e inspiración del proyecto @solarisfuture, con el cual organizamos un total de 2 concursos “Vegan Love for the Planet: Reutilización” y “Vegan Love for the Planet: Reducción”. Les invitamos a conocer y apoyar al proyecto @solarisfuture, que merece todo el respaldo posible, ya que trabaja en pro de la salud, conservación y protección de nuestra única casa en este vasto universo: El planeta Tierra.
- Por la celebración de nuestro segundo aniversario, hicimos una convocatoria para un concurso de pasteles de cumpleaños, el cual tuvo un total de ¡22 entradas!, 22 hermosos e increíbles pasteles que premiamos con 60 hive, distribuidos en diferentes lugares y menciones honoríficas.
- En el mes de Octubre 2023 comenzamos a celebrar los cumpleaños de los miembros activos de la familia vegana, es decir, hemos celebrado tres meses de cumpleaños. En cada post se hace entrega de un obsequio a los cumpleañeros del mes, consistente en $hive, además de resaltar el trabajo realizado por ellos en la plataforma.
También queremos agradecer, a las ballenas, proyectos y casas de curación y comunidades amigas, quienes con sus votos, apoyan la labor comunitaria de Plant Power (Vegan) y los posts publicados por los creadores de contenido en nuestra comunidad. ¡Mil gracias a todos ustedes!
Sin nuestros delegadores y sin aquellos que siguen nuestro trail de votación, difícilmente podríamos hacer este trabajo. El voto vegano se fortalece a través de las delegaciones a @plantpoweronhive y siguiendo nuestro trail, lo que nos permite votar el buen contenido hecho dentro y fuera de nuestro nicho. ¡Estamos totalmente agradecidos!

Quiero finalizar este post diciendo, que para mí es un honor ser la dueña y administradora de la comunidad Plant Power (Vegan), pues se ha convertido en un espacio hermoso y con buena vibra. Asimismo, reitero mi compromiso para que esta comunidad siga creciendo, y ofreciendo nuevas actividades y oportunidades a los suscriptores y a los creadores de contenido en general. ¡Que este año 2024 sea propicio para todos nosotros!
