Hi vegan lovers, it's a pleasure to invite you to prepare one of the simple recipes from pineapple. This recipe is classified as a recipe that is made very simple by using only three ingredients. Now the idea of making this recipe when I have a slightly sour pineapple at home as a result I searched the internet what can be processed from it.

Is the definition of processing pineapple in a different way, namely combining pineapple with powdered palm sugar. Then it is grilled on a hot grill so that it releases caramelized palm sugar from the pineapple which creates a creamy sauce. Because this is my first time processing pineapple, I have to be more careful not to overcook the pineapple, and that makes it not tasty.

Ingredients Used

½ pineapple
100 gram palm sugar
¼ teaspoon salt




Making Procedure


Step 1


Peel the pineapple skin, then remove the outside of the pineapple with a tool that I bought in the marketplace.

Step 2


After cleaning, I divided it into 4 parts with a rather thick cut.

Step 3


Then wash it thoroughly and add salt to the powdered palm sugar. Then put the pineapple in the palm sugar stirring until well mixed.

Step 4


Grill the pineapple on the grill let the caramel come out and the pineapple is perfectly cooked.

Grilled pineapple with three easy-to-make ingredients is ready to serve. Serve in any condition is very good. Now when cooked, the pineapple releases caramel that has been mixed with palm sugar. Everything is cooked to the maximum, the palm sugar melts perfectly and is very absorbed into the pineapple. Although some of the pineapple water came out and mixed with palm sugar, I added it in a container and then I enjoyed it with the dipping sauce.

The sweet and sour taste of the palm sugar blends perfectly with the creamy pineapple. For those of you who are curious about the taste, try it immediately, this is really the definition of enjoying sour pineapple that is preserved to be sweet, very flavorful, I like it. Moreover, the aroma when cooked wafts throughout the room. Pineapple is indeed very suitable to be made processed like this and I will try it someday.

Wow this adds more sweetness and flavors to the pineapple

The pineapple I used was the sour kind, so adding the sweetness of the palm sugar gave it just the right flavor!
