I drew toast in Paint! [ENG/ESP]

Hello there! Today I want to share my latest piece of art—or at least my attempt at art, haha. I drew a piece of toast in Paint! I’ve been exploring the program a lot—check out my earlier posts. I’ve also discovered that I love rustic and simple drawing styles, and the pencil tool in Paint perfectly captures that traditional look.

In discovering other artists’ work, I found that this style is often called “cottagecore” or “slow life.” I love how it beautifully celebrates the simplest and calmest moments of everyday life. Poetry in a humble piece of toast, or freshly picked daisies. Maybe this is the first step in finding my own style?

Here’s a step-by-step of my drawing. I used Photoshop for the final shadow projection, but I think I’ll try doing that part in Paint next time.

Thank you for being here today—I hope you enjoy my little drawing. Bye!

¡Chau!

I love this! The “cottagecore” style blends beautifully with your original artwork. The Photoshop-added shadow on the toast also made me wonder. Whose shadow is it, or what kind? A pet? Trees? Or maybe someone is hungry...?

HAHAHA thanks, it’s the shadow of a blind near my breakfast table, it gets projected over the dishes hahahaha thank yooou, have a lovely day and good luck! ╰(°▽°)╯
