Namaste 🙏
Hope you all are doing well!
A really good morning from the really beautiful and cold Spiti Valley. Here I am at Batal today, and I am going to tell you guys about my experience of there in total serenity and tranquility.

So, I woke up around 6 AM in the morning, and it was so chilly outside that everything was frozen, even the water that was inside the tank was partially frozen. So I waited for some time to get this frozen aspect of the valley to get better.

When I woke up, then only I realised how many people were staying in the camps. There were a lot of bikers and a lot of other people as well. In short, the campsite was full as this is the only campsite in the whole valley.

Camps are also very well insulated with two or three layers of insulation is in the tent itself. Apart from that there are four layers of clothing inside of the tent in your bed, which you need to have in order to sleep in this subzero temperature.

At this time, also, most of the people were asleep and only those who really valued the mountain sunrise were awake. Let me tell you guys. This was one of the best sunrise. I have ever seen in my life, and you’ll also come to know that in a short while.

Here you can see the mighty Papsura peak with shining on it. This is one of the most famous peak of this himalayan range as there are a lot of expeditions from a lot of very popular expedition companies available on YouTube about this mountain.

Just to be clear, The Mountain on the right most side is Papsura. It’s just like a perfect pyramid, and it has one of the best slopes for skiing down. There is also one twin mountain called Dharam Sura, which is also very next to it.

The legend says that these two mountains keep on changing their height in a matter of several thousand years or centuries, and it depends on the significance that which force is dominant in current scenario, the forces being the forces of good and evil. Papsura is the mountain of evil, which is slightly taller than Dharam Sura, which is the mountain of good.

That clearly shows us that nowadays, the force of bad is stronger than the force of good. I also got out in the neighbourhood to explore the river, which was still yet to receive the sunlight.
I’m gonna tell you guys about continuing my journey in the next blog. Till that time, stay tuned and thank you all for passing by.
Peace ☮️
