Hello Hive Fam! Most especially to my ever-supportive Hive Friends all over the world and my co Filipino Hivers, I’m sending you cheerful greetings today from Bulacan. Rain has been pouring almost the whole day, but kindness never fails to shine through even in gloomy weather.
Earlier today, my generous neighbor handed me a bowl filled with pork and eggplant. I don’t even know the exact name of this recipe, but one thing is for sure: it’s absolutely delicious! The savory pork combined with the soft, flavorful eggplant made it the perfect comfort food for my rainy day lunch.
Moments like this remind me how blessed I am to live in a community where neighbors share not only food but also warmth and care. It’s not just about the dish itself, but the thoughtfulness behind it. Receiving this meal made me realize that sometimes the simplest gestures carry the greatest impact.
