RE: Why Hive Feels Less Rewarding Lately (And What You Can Do About It)

in Hive Learners3 months ago

Hey buddy, I really appreciate your honest take, and no worries at all, it didn’t come off as unfriendly to me. You're absolutely right that voting is beyond our control, and setting expectations too high isn’t always a good idea either. After all, posting here is basically free, and the platform doesn’t promise guaranteed rewards.

For me, it’s not so much about expecting a certain payout, but more about noticing recurring patterns like auto downvotes happening just when a post starts gaining some traction. I get that downvoters have the right to adjust rewards, but it would be nice if they were a bit more courteous in their approach... maybe make an effort to engage first and politely explain why they feel a post is over-rewarded. Hehe.

Maybe that’s just wishful thinking...

Anyway, no worries at all about the upvotes! I never saw your support as anything negative or like sabotage. That said, feel free to unvote or lower it to 1% for this particular post if you prefer. :) (There's a whale that auto-downvotes my post when it reaches close to around $22)

I'm already glad you dropped by and took the time to leave a comment.

Thanks again for your thoughtful words and for sticking around through all the ups and downs. Cheers!

Yeah yours is a somewhat peculiar situation, from what I can see. Like you said, posting here is basically free.

On the bright side, the crypto market is trending upwards, and Hive might just follow the trend soon, so all these current vote values might be worth much more in the future!

Thanks for taking time to drop me a reply too! Appreciate it!

I do hope that Hive follows the trend too :) Many of the negative sentiments about the platform will be forgotten (temporarily) if that happens hehehe

Good night!
