Drinking coffee gives me more access to the world of creativity. Of course, creativity is essential in any endeavor.
Especially creativity in the field of repurposing old places into exciting new ones. So, let me take you to a coffee shop that shows how creativity makes many things interesting!
Well, I visited this coffee shop last week on my birthday, August 8th. It was my 32nd birthday. Wow, I'm still young at heart, since I don't have children yet. Hehehe
My garden doesn't have many difficult plants to care for, so I can leave it for a longer walk around the city.
I took a walk last week to explore new places. And I found a new place to drink coffee.
It's been a long time since I've had morning coffee! I spotted a coffee shop called "Loske Coffee."
From the front, it looked like an old-fashioned establishment in the area. It featured beautiful, brightly colored climbing flowers on the roof.
As I walked deeper into the shop, I realized it was actually an old house converted into a coffee shop.
This coffee shop opens at 7:00 a.m. At first, I felt a bit of culture shock. I'd never seen a coffee shop this early in the city. So I figured it was a habit of working people going to work in the morning and needing a cup of coffee to fuel their work. Perfect for morning people who need a cup of coffee.
Even though it opens at 7:00 a.m., the coffee shop was already quite busy in the front. Luckily, it wasn't too crowded inside, so I was still able to photograph the place without feeling embarrassed.
Meanwhile, to order coffee, you have to order directly at the front bar and pay. This way, when you leave, you can leave immediately without having to ask for the bill.
I ordered a breakfast package: a cup of cafe latte with cinnamon roll. For $2.70.
I walked around the place while waiting for my order. The industrial concept was strong.
With a little creativity, the old building became a unique place to drink coffee.
The door to the middle room was removed, leaving only the unique brickwork. Then, the old paint on the walls was left in its original state.
The old paint on the walls of the building actually adds to the strong industrial art feel.
Meanwhile, some walls in other parts of the room reminded me of the walls of my old house, which had not been renovated.
I remembered my late father's room, which had blackened walls because he was an active smoker. The walls in this cafe reminded me of that memory—an old building that holds many beautiful memories.
Meanwhile, the roof and windows were also left in their original form. I think there are a few additions, such as fixing the leaky roof. But again, they've retained the old roof shape to maintain the industrial feel without much finishing.
To enhance the building's appeal, they've added hanging bicycles and ceramic tiles on the walls with a bit of art.
There are ceramic tiles on the walls, typical of old kitchens. The name of this coffee shop is written Loske.
Let's talk about the coffee. At first, I sat next to the wall, but then I moved to a deeper area because the front area near the window was already full of people smoking.
There's another interesting thing about this coffee shop. They provide free drinking water. Of course, this is cool. Because in other coffee shops, you have to buy mineral water.
I took my water from the provided container. Although it's a plastic container, I really appreciate it; we should drink mineral water before drinking coffee to neutralize our stomach acid.
But the training presentation turned out to be quite strong and delicious. As many customer reviews have shown, the coffee here is delicious. Another great thing is that it's not sweet, and you can request the level of sweetness to suit your taste.
This is truly coffee as coffee should be. I mean, there are coffee shops that only serve a little coffee but add a lot of sugar, and I think that's fake coffee.
Well, I was happy to find something interesting on my birthday that time. Celebrating with something simple but I really enjoy is something that makes me grateful that at 32 years old.I've still been given so much beauty to be grateful for.
For the delicious coffee, for the delicious cinnamon rolls and the aroma that permeates my mind. As I write this coffee shop review, I feel like returning there again. Maybe next time, when I'm done with gardening. Thank you for reading about my joy in discovering this unique coffee shop. See you.
