Today I wanted to do something nice for one of my friends, so I cooked something quick and easy to share—a snack. She likes savory things and strong flavors, so I thought toast with pesto and cherry tomatoes would be a good idea.
Hoy quise tener un detalle con una de mis amigas y me puse a cocinar un poco algo rápido que se pudiera compartir, un snack. A ella le gustan las cosas saladas y sabores bastante intensos por lo que se me ocurrió como buena idea unas tostadas con pesto y tomates cherry.
I let her know and asked her to bring something to go with it, and she brought a ham. Everything was really delicious, especially the pesto, which was a couple of days old and perfectly flavored. I wrapped the toast in paper towels to keep it from getting soggy, and it worked. I enjoyed this get-together; it was delicious, and I think I should do it again.
Le avisé y le pedí que trajera algo para complementar y trajo fue un jamón. Realmente todo estuvo muy rico, el pesto en especial al tener un par de días después de que lo había elaborado, su sabor estaba en su punto. Guardé las tostadas en papel para que no se pusieran blandas y aguadas, funcionó. Me gustó este compartir que hice, estuvo delicioso y creo que debería repetirlo.
