Comprar papas fritas congeladas no es algo que hacemos muy seguido ya que realmente el costo no es muy atractivo para el bolsillo de cualquier venezolano promedio que a duras penas puede comprar lo básico, yo adoro las papas fritas y decir que como papas fritas 2 veces al año es mucho ya que a pesar de que me gusta como dije anteriormente es bastante difícil de comprar para mí, por eso ayer me sorprendí bastante cuando vi estas papas a un precio bastante “ECONOMICO” a comparación de las papas que suelo ver siempre en otros lugares, el precio era de $3.6 y era 1 KG de papas, me sorprendí demasiado
Buying frozen french fries isn’t something we do very often, since the cost really isn’t very affordable for the average Venezuelan, who can barely afford the basics. I love french fries, and to say that I eat them twice a year is already a lot—because even though I like them, as I mentioned before, they’re pretty hard for me to buy, That’s why I was quite surprised yesterday when I saw these fries at a pretty “AFFORDABLE” price compared to the ones I usually see elsewhere. The price was $3.60 for 1 kg of fries—I was really surprised.
La verdad tenia mis dudas de que fuese un buen producto ya que estaban muy económicas, para darles un ejemplo, normalmente cualquier papas en el supermercado de mi casa de un 1 KG cuesta casi $8 incluso las de 500 gr son mas caras que la que compre ayer, es una cosa increíble el precio. Decidí arriesgarme y las compre para ver si valían la pena.
To be honest, I had my doubts about whether this was a good product since they were so cheap. To give you an example, normally any 1-kg bag of potatoes at my local supermarket costs almost $8—even the 500-gram bags are more expensive than the ones I bought yesterday. The price is unbelievable. I decided to take a chance and buy them to see if they were worth it.
La mejor manera de probarlo era con un buen bistec, me encanta la combinación de papas + BISTECK en cualquiera de sus presentaciones, es delicioso y les puedo asegurar que realmente valen muchísimo la pena, son como cualquier otras papas, normalmente en este país cuando compramos cosas económicas son de muy mala calidad asi que fue una grata sorpresa ver que las papas se freían sin problema yo estaba casi segura que se pegarían al sartén o algo asi jajaja.
The best way to try them was with a good steak— I love the combination of potatoes and steak in any form—it’s delicious, and I can assure you they’re really worth it. They’re just like any other potatoes. Usually in this country, when we buy inexpensive items, they’re very poor quality, so it was a pleasant surprise to see that the potatoes fried up just fine. I was almost certain they’d stick to the pan or something like that, hahaha.
No se si estas papas las vendan en todos lados, pero si las llegas a ver no las ignores y revisa el precio porque son bastante económicas y sirven muchísimo para matar ese gustito de vez en cuando de papas fritas, hoy cocine la mitad del paquete ya que somos tres personas pero una sola persona puede comer facil 4 veces de ahí jajaja
I don't know if they sell these potatoes everywhere, but if you happen to see them, don't ignore them—check the price because they're pretty cheap and are great for satisfying that occasional craving for French fries. Today I cooked half the bag since there are three of us, but one person could easily eat four servings of them, haha.
