Welcome back from my foodie new blog. How are you guys? Is everything Ok? I hope everything is ok. It's been a while since I've talked about food blogs or the plants in my small garden. It's been a while since I've met with my students. Because I've been focusing on other things and haven't been able to visit them for a while. Today I made a snack for them. Today I made sushi for them. The sushi I made today is homemade sushi, so it doesn't require many ingredients and it's easy to make.
I will tell you the ingredients I used to make my home made sushi. Then I will tell you the step by step process. Let's get started.

- rice
- sushi nori [ Seaweed ]
- oil
- salt
- cucumber
- carrot
- sausage
- egg
Step-1
First, I washed the cucumber and carrot that I would be using. Then I peeled them and cut them into small pieces as shown in the picture.
To make the taste more balanced, I added a little salt to the sliced cucumber and carrot and then marinated them.
Step-2
Cut the egg and sausage into appropriate pieces and place them on a plate.
Step-3
I season the rice with a little oil and a little salt. If I don't add that, the sushi will be a little bland. Now you're ready to roll the sushi.
Step-4
Now I'm going to share with you a simple way to roll sushi without using bamboo. I took a plastic bag and cut off the handles of the plastic bag. Then I cut the remaining pieces from the middle.
Step-5
First, I placed the sushi nori on the plastic that I had cut. Then I placed the rice on it and spread it out evenly.
Step-6
Then I added cucumber and carrot as much as I wanted on top of the rice. Then I added the sliced sausage and egg horizontally as shown in the picture.
Then I rolled the plastic on one side of the sushi nori inward as shown in the picture. Then I rolled everything up as shown in the picture.
I made about 7 sushi rolls using this method and placed them on a plate.
Then I cut the rolled sushi beautifully. The knife used for cutting also needs to be good. If the knife is not good, the sushi may be formed when cutting. Then I arranged the cut sushi on a plate.
At the last stage, I decorated it with mayonnaise.
