Last weekend was one for the books as we joined a group tour to Dingalan, Aurora—and what a beautiful escape it was! With just a day to explore, we made sure to make every moment count. It wasn’t just about the place, but also the people—we came as a group of friends but left with new ones, making the whole experience even more meaningful.
Our journey started early, the road trip filled with excitement and sleepy smiles. Dingalan welcomed us with cool mountain air and the promise of adventure. First on our itinerary was trekking to the lighthouse. The trail was a mix of challenge and fun, and every step was worth it once we reached the top. The view? Absolutely breathtaking. No wonder they call it the "Batanes of the East"—rolling hills, ocean waves crashing below, and dramatic cliffs all around.
After taking in the view (and lots of photos, of course), we headed for island hopping. The boat ride was relaxing, the salty breeze refreshing. One of the best parts? Jumping off the boat and enjoying a quick swim near the rocky formations. The water was cold but oh-so-refreshing!
To cap off our adventure, we visited a nearby waterfall. The trek going there was easy, and the moment we saw the falls, we didn’t waste time—we dove right in. Laughs, splashes, and cold water massages—it was the perfect way to cool off and relax our tired muscles.
Though it was just a day tour, it felt like we squeezed in a week’s worth of memories. Dingalan gave us adventure, nature, and new friendships—all in one trip. Definitely looking forward to coming back someday... maybe next time, for an overnight stay!
