Yesterday afternoon, I drove to a 7-Eleven convenience store about 6 kilometers from my house. The roads around the university were very quiet, with most shops, restaurants, and cafés were closed since it was still the Songkran holiday period in Thailand. Many people take advantage of this long holiday to travel to other provinces, and students often return to their hometowns (here, a large number of students come from other provinces, probably more than half).
A few people stopped by the convenience store to buy things. As I was walking out, my daughter called and said she wanted a burger from her favorite burger place. I told her I’d drive by to check if the shop was open, I wasn’t sure if they’d be closed for the holiday.
The shop was about 500 meters further. I parked in front and saw a sign hanging that said "Open." I smiled to myself, happy that my daughter would get her burger. I called her back to let her know the shop was open and asked what she wanted. She said, "The usual, and please get some for little brother and Dad too!"
เมื่อวานตอนบ่าย ฉันขับรถไปร้านสะดวกซื้อ 7-11 ซึ่งอยู่ห่างจากบ้านประมาณ 6 กิโลเมตร ถนนในมหาวิทยาลัยโล่งมาก ร้านค้า ร้านอาหารและร้านเครื่องดื่ม ปิดเกือบหมด เนื่องจากยังเป็นวันหยุดช่วงเทศกาลสงกรานต์ของประเทศไทย ประชาชนบางส่วนจะใช้เวลาช่วงนี้ซึ่งหยุดยาวหลายวัน ไปเที่ยวต่างจังหวัด นักศึกษาเดินทางกลับภูมิลำเนา (ที่นี่มีนักศึกษาจากต่างจังหวัดเยอะมาก น่าจะเกินครึ่ง) ในร้านสะดวกซื้อมีคนแวะมาซื้อของบ้าง ขณะที่ฉันเดินออกมาจากร้านสะดวกซื้อ ลูกสาวโทรมาบอกว่า เธออยากกินแฮมเบอร์เกอร์ร้านประจำ ฉันจึงบอกเธอว่า ฉันจะขับรถไปดูที่ร้านให้นะ ไม่แน่ใจว่าร้านปิดหรือเปล่า ร้านนี้อยู่ห่างออกไปอีกประมาณ 500 เมตร ฉันขับรถไปจอดที่หน้าร้าน เป็นป้ายแขวนไว้ว่า "เปิด" ฉันยิ้มกับตัวเอง ดีใจที่ลูกสาวจะได้กินเบอร์เกอร์ ฉันจึงโทรกลับไปหาลูกสาว บอกเธอว่าร้านเปิด และถามเธอว่าอยากกินเบอร์เกอร์อะไร เธอบอกว่า "เหมือนเดิม และซื้อมาฝากน้องชายและคุณพ่อด้วยค่ะ"

- I walked into the shop. It was quieter than usual. When I entered, there were no other customers. As soon as the staff saw me, they greeted me and handed me a large menu. I placed my order and sat down to wait.

- Ubrger is a small American-style homemade burger joint, with just one shop unit. It has both indoor and outdoor seating, decorated in a bold black-and-yellow theme. I really like it; the design stands out. In this area (meaning both sides of the university’s entrance and exit roads), there are three burger places, but this one is my favorite because their burgers are delicious.

- The menu offers a variety of options. The main dishes are burgers, with choices like beef, pork, fish, and chicken. You can also add toppings like bacon, cheese, fried eggs, pickles, grilled onions, or pickled jalapeños (for an extra 10–15 THB).
ร้านนี้มีหลายเมนู เมนูหลักคือเบอร์เกอร์ มีให้เราเลือกทั้ง เนื้อวัว, หมู, ปลา, ไก่ เราสามารถเพิ่ม เบคอน, ชีส ไข่ดาว, แตงกวาดอง, หอมย่าง, พริกจาลาปีโน่ดอง (เพิ่มเงิน 10-15 บาท)
- Besides burgers, they serve American fried rice, Texas hot sauce grilled chicken rice, and snacks like fried chicken, fried onions, French fries, fish rings, garlic cheese sticks, and fried bread.

- While I was waiting, three more customers came in, and a Line Man (delivery rider) arrived to pick up an online order. I think this service is great. it’s convenient for customers, saves travel and waiting time, and even helps save on gas. They charge a small extra fee for the convenience, which is worth it for the time saved.
ระหว่างที่ฉันนั่งรอ ก็มีลูกค้าเดินเข้ามาในร้านอีก 3 คน และมีไลน์แมนมารับอาหารที่ลูกค้าสั่งออนไลน์ ฉันคิดว่าบริการนี้ดีนะ มันทำให้ลูกค้าสะดวกและประหยัดเวลาในการเดินทางและการรออาหาร รวมทั้งประหยัดน้ำมันรถด้วย พวกเขาเพิ่มค่าบริการอีกนิดหน่อย เพื่อซื้อเวลาและความสะดวก
