- Hello, everyone. I hope you're all doing well. 😀😀 Today, my kids are home all day, which of course means I have to prepare both main meals and snacks for them. For lunch, I added another chicken dish to go with the curry I made this morning. It's a simple, seemingly ordinary dish, but my kids love this recipe of mine. The chicken is marinated with seasonings until the flavors penetrate the meat, then fried in hot oil until crispy and cooked through, yet still remaining juicy and tender. I use chicken wingettes. Preparation requires setting aside about an hour for marinating, or you can marinate it overnight in the refrigerator. Guaranteed to be flavorful and delicious to the bone.😆😆 Here's how to make it.

🍗 Ingredients
- Chicken wingettes, 10-12 pieces
- Crispy frying flour, 1/2 cup
- Water, 1/4 cup
- Fish sauce, 2 tablespoons
- Granulated sugar, 1/2 tablespoon
- Seasoning powder, 1 tablespoon
- Ground black pepper, 2 teaspoons
- Paprika powder, 1 tablespoon
- Egg, 1

🫕 Procedure
- I'll start by preparing the chicken. The kids love wingettes the most, so I'm using all of this part. Wash them thoroughly, let them drain, or pat them dry, then place them in a mixing bowl.

- Add the seasonings: fish sauce, sugar, seasoning powder, paprika powder, and ground black pepper.

- Mix well, using your hands to massage the seasonings in for a bit.

- Add the crispy frying flour and the egg.

- Mix everything together well, then add enough water to just cover the chicken. Cover the mixing bowl and marinate for about an hour.

- Once the time is up, fry the chicken in hot oil over medium heat.

- Flip them over to cook evenly on all sides and until they are golden brown and crispy.

- Remove and place them on a wire rack to drain off excess oil. For the remaining batter, drop it into the oil and fry until it becomes crispy batter flakes.

- Arrange the fried chicken on a plate, topped with the crispy batter flakes. Serve with ketchup.

- The deliciousness of this fried chicken wing recipe lies in its crispy exterior that stays crispy, and a juicy, tender interior that's never dry. The flavor is perfectly balanced and rich, all the way to the bone. That's why the kids love it and can eat so much of it.

- It's enjoyably non greasy because it's marinated and seasoned yourself, resulting in a taste that's just right, not too salty or overly rich. When paired with a slightly sweet ketchup, it helps cut through any richness. It's truly a simple yet incredibly worthwhile dish.

Thank you so much for stopping by 🤗
