Hello everyone. I 'm currently on a break from school because it's a one-week break, so the kids are home 24/7. So, each day I have activities to do with them and other chores to do. Life seems hectic these days because I have to rush through housework and take care of the kids. Sometimes, when the kids are together, they might argue loudly, and I have to be the one to break them up. Sometimes, I'm so tired that I have to let them unleash their stubborn energy. Haha, it's a daily challenge for me.
Every day, like this morning, I had to drive to the market to buy vegetables to cook for the children. The morning air was quite cool, and I drove my motorcycle slowly. The road was relatively empty, with few cars because it was school break and there weren't many cars in my village. After driving to the market for a few minutes, I parked my car and walked into the market to buy vegetables. Today, there were many shops that weren't open for business. There weren't many vegetable shops, so I looked at the vegetables I liked to eat. There weren't many, and they were the same vegetables I eat regularly. Sometimes I felt bored. I bought a few vegetables, then didn't buy anything else and drove home.
When I got home, I washed some vegetables and prepared them for the kids to eat. Today, I bought winged beans to stir-fry with pork. Initially, I planned to make winged bean curry with minced pork, but I realized my kids can't handle spicy food. So, I decided to make a simple dish for them that I could eat.
I made two simple dishes: the first was bitter melon fried with egg, and the second was stir-fried winged beans with minced pork. This was enough for me this morning. I also cooked some rice by steaming it in a simple pan, and that was it. The secret to preventing bitter melon from becoming bitter is to slice it thinly and soak it in salt water for about 15 minutes. Then, rinse it thoroughly and let it dry. After that, cook it to reduce the bitterness. The kids ate both of these dishes as soon as they woke up. These are two of their favorites. Luckily, they're good at eating vegetables, so whenever I make a vegetable dish, they can eat almost everything.
After dinner, it's time to relax, run around, read, and do homework. After teaching the kids, everyone enjoys their own free time. The two kids play in the room, while I sit at my desk doing my crochet work. Sometimes, my youngest daughter runs over to me and plays with me. Sometimes, we take photos together or color, which is a fun little activity. If it's not raining, I'll take the kids to the playground. But if it's too busy at work, they'll play nearby; I don't have to go anywhere far. And that's all for today.
