Some days don't need big events to be meaningful.
But it was full of moments.
Today was like that.
These are the ordinary snapshots that make up our simple, imperfect life.
And I'm grateful I noticed them.

Filipino Breakfast

Our morning started with a very Filipino kind of breakfast, pandesal. I bought it from one of the rolling stores that passes by our barangay. Each pandesal costs ₱5/$0.08, and I bought ₱40/$0.67 worth. This pandesal had cheese inside, so no need for any spread. I paired it with a cup of coffee. One thing I love about this pandesal is that it's always served hot. Fresh from the oven. That's why it's so soft. 😋

Headed To The Grocery Store

After breakfast, we headed to the grocery store. It was Aiden's first time walking as we usually carry him in a baby carrier. He was so excited. We couldn't help but laugh at how he walked so proudly. Lol.

Burong Kanin

By lunchtime, my friend Amy shared her burong kanin with us. She told me it's one of the delicacies in Pangasinan. At first taste, I actually liked it. It tastes sour. But when I paired it with rice and other ulam, my taste buds changed their mind. 😆 I'm happy that I tried it, but it's just not for me. 🫣

Volunteered At Our Kingdom Hall

In the afternoon, I did something that made my heart so happy. I volunteered at our Kingdom Hall renovation. This was my first time volunteering again, after a looooong, long break, staying at home because of the kids. Going back felt refreshing. And yes, I'll admit, I was also happy that I got to go out without the kids for a while. 😛

So that's it.
Just my everyday life. 🌷
Nothing big happened today.
And yet, everything mattered.
Until my next everyday snapshots...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
